The Lucky Chance Spin, or Wager Saver on some machines, are designed to give players who don’t have enough to place a full bet a chance at one instead. The chance is proportional to the amount you’re trying to bet, and if you are successful, you get a spin at that bet.
Brian Christopher loves to try for spins using the Lucky Chance Spin, and on occasion those tries have been quite successful! Here are a few examples where they worked out wonderfully.
The Bonus Came at the BEST Time!
Brian played a session of Lightning Link a few years back, was down to the Lucky Chance spin, and not only got a spin but got the Hold & Spin bonus:
With $500 in free play plus $100 in, the Lucky Chance spin delivered a handpay!
Trying a Different Approach
After a session where the game burned through his original budget, he decided to try doing Lucky Chance spins back to back, with $100 in and attempting a $125 spin each time – an 80 percent chance of getting the spin.
After a bit of trying, he got a free spins bonus, and on the last spin got enough revealing symbols to match up to yield another handpay.
Same Technique, Better Outcome
This time around, he got it again, but this time got a Hold & Spin bonus:
Thanks to a massive Minor jackpot, it turned out to be, at the time, his biggest win at the casino at the time. It’s since been beat, but it’s a fun moment.
A Random Event on a Lucky Chance Spin
The same could be said for this bonus, but this one is a bit different:
He starts out on the Million Dollar Dragon Links. He does some regular spins, shifts to the Lucky Chance Spin method, and on one of them manages to trigger a Random Major jackpot. This was also his biggest win ever at the time it was hit.
As you can see, Brian’s had some great luck doing this trick, but it doesn’t have to be done at such high stakes – you can attempt spins at any bet level and at any ratio.
