If you haven’t heard the news recently, Brian Christopher recently signed to become a brand ambassador of BetMGM! It’s an exciting development that sees Brian exploring a still relatively new world of online casinos.
But leading up to this announcement, Brian had already been exploring all of what BetMGM has to offer, and like most players had become developing a list of his favorite go-tos on the site.
With that in mind, here’s 20 of Brian’s favorite games on BetMGM. And if you’re not familiar with BetMGM Casino or BetMGM Sports, check out our reviews on the subject! And join Brian every Sunday on his BCBets YouTube channel for weekly live play videos and additional online casino shorts!
Wheel of Fortune Triple Extreme Spin
The Wheel of Fortune series is a classic on the casino floor, and many of them have made the transition online. In fact, Wheel of Fortune Triple Extreme Spin is hard to find on casino floors now, but remains a popular choice online. And BetMGM has an exclusive version of the slot you can play only on their casino!
Cleopatra
Cleopatra and Brian have a history, so it makes sense that this would be on his top 20. He’s had some pretty crazy wins already online, just as he has in the casino, so you’ll be sure to find Brian playing this often on his lives.
Pharaoh’s Fortune
This is another classic IGT game that has stood the test of time, and Brian has a patented picking strategy for this one – figure out where he thinks the three start bonus boxes are, and avoid them as much as he can!
Jumanji
This version of Jumanji is an online-only game that has a lot of features as well as a bonus that can lead to multiple rounds of free spins. It’s a fun, active game that keeps things exciting, and Brian’s had some great moments on it!
Crabbin’ Crazy
This was a surprise find during some exploration on the site – a regularly triggering set of bonuses that has a hold and spin style component can get lucrative quite quickly, and Brian’s really enjoyed this bonus particularly.
Jewel of the Dragon : Red Phoenix
Jewel of the Dragon is a relatively recent addition to many casino floors, and the game has also made the jump online. Along with a traditional hold and spin bonus, the collect bonus on the free games is an interesting departure from the norm, offering a fresh twist on games with symbols that show credit prizes waiting to be won.
Cash Machine
Cash Machine has long been a favorite of Brian’s in the casino, but he’s dabbled in bigger spins on the online one. $10 a spin is pretty standard in casinos, but $100 a spin is often times where he ends up online… and he’s even tried the occasional $1,000 spin too!
Gold Blitz Blazing Bison
The ability to collect prizes once or even twice on this six-reel game is pretty exciting, and the choice of two different bonus options when you trigger the bonus just adds more fun into the mix. Do you take the safer route of more spins, or the guaranteed collect option but with only a couple of spins to make it happen?
Dancing Drums Explosion
This variation of Dancing Drums is a natural for Brian, who loves the series, but also has a wider range of bets than is often seen on the one in casinos. Whereas $10 a spin is generally where this game tops off in casinos, an $88 spin is possible online, and he certainly leans into it.
Prosperity Link
We were one of the first to share that the fun casino favorite Prosperity Link made the jump to online casinos including BetMGM! With a Lock & Respin feature that can unlock up to four sets of reels, and a free games bonus with wilds that can amp up the pays, it’s a fun game with a lot to like.
Squid Game
The in-casino Squid Game is just launching, but the online version has been out for a bit now, with some differences in the games allowing for some fun. The game draws reliably on the Netflix show for inspiration, and delivers a game with a very different look and feel to the normal slot you’ll find online.
Rakin’ Bacon! Odyssey
The latest edition of the line of slots featuring Cornsquealius made its way online quite quickly, a great accomplishment for AGS as an up and coming studio. Like other games in the Rakin’ Bacon series, Cornsquealius can pop for a jackpot, and the all ways pays format gives the opportunity for some sizable wins.
88 Fortunes
The granddaddy of pot games is still a staple on physical casino floors, but is also available as an online title. Brian jokingly gets frustrated at the slow countup on the game, but at the same time it tends to deliver a lot of great winning moments as well, so it stays on the Must Play list.
Diamond Cash: Almighty Kraken
Diamond Cash is a fun twist on the hold and spin format with some additional opportunities that show up as part of the respin feature. Instead of an outright free games bonus, special diamonds can show up triggering free spins for additional wins as an extension of the respin bonus. With all the payouts anchored in this one bonus type, it makes it all the more important to root for and achieve!
Power Fortune
It’s always fun when Brian gets something mixed up only to trip across something absolutely awesome, and Power Fortune was a great recent example of this. He thought it was a different game, but once he caught on to the symbol upgrades and multipliers, he began to lean into it quickly. On the free spins the upgrades take on even more power, opening the door for some compelling wins!
Lightning Gorilla
There are a number of Lightning games online nowadays in this series, where the bonus is open-ended, since all prizes are collected, taken off the reels, and the reels open back up for the chance to drop more. Brian loves the potential, and has sometimes collected a bunch of Mini and Minor prizes on a lengthy bonus that adds up fast!
10x Fortune
This has been a regular game for Brian since he discovered it, thanks to the classic style reels with the extra reel featuring multipliers. Up to 10x is available on the multiplier reel, which is exciting, and a free spins bonus can really deliver some value. The multiplier can even multiply the number of free games awarded, up to 100 with the 10x multiplier! Otherwise, it’s a simple, easy to understand 5 line game.
Majestic Lions: Roar 4
Majestic Lions is a staple on casino floors at MGM, and this variation features four sets of reels at the same time. Brian’s excitement when discovering this was beaten by his excitement on how the game’s payouts work, and in this video clip you’ll get excited about it too!
Cash Volt
Collecting Cash Volt symbols is the name of the game here, with bigger Cash Volt symbols converting to more symbols on the reels for a better chance at a payout. With the lack of a bonus, all eyes are focused on collecting those Cash Volt symbols – a nice, simple, fun slot here.
9 Masks of Fire
This is another game where collecting enough of the symbols comes into play – this time though you’re trying to get the 9 Masks of Fire. Here there’s also a bonus feature, so you have a couple of goals to work towards, but getting a lot of masks certainly can pay off!
