I play slots a lot. If you’re a regular viewer, this probably isn’t a surprise. And like everyone, I have some amazing runs, and then there’s the times where it’s incredibly tough. So it’s natural some wonder how I keep things going:
Have you ever let a game get the best of you?

I’m not immune to getting frustrated at times when a game isn’t offering anything up after a good attempt. Of course, on camera, I try to reflect what I encourage others to do in these situations – set a limit, get up, take a break. Remember, you’re playing with money you expect to lose, so it should be money you can afford to lose, and be from your entertainment budget.
If a game continuously proves to be a tough one and I’m not having fun, my normal instinct is to simply not play that game for a while when that happens. But normally I will give any new game a couple of tries at first, since one session isn’t necessarily an indicator of how a game will be over time – in the short term, just about anything is possible!
Coin Combo was a perfect example of this – when it came out, I could not get anything to happen. For a long time, it was on my “do not play” list, as I just couldn’t understand why anyone would play such an uneventful game.
Then, one day, I was in Oklahoma doing a live stream, and landed a Grand jackpot on it! That certainly offered a different perspective, and after that I began to see other aspects of the game and now it’s one I like enough to have featured in my Brian Christopher Slots at Plaza area.
But you can certainly see in my videos my putting more money in a machine after a bad run to try and reach a bonus, and sometimes it just doesn’t happen. Enough of those sorts of sessions, and I’ll generally walk away from the game, at least for a while anyway.
