Do you think machines pay out less at the last 2 weeks of the month? I see more pay outs in the beginning of the month than at the end.

We’re picking this one as an example, but you can rest assured there’s another in our question box that asks about whether machines pay better at the end of the month, because they’ve had time to build up money that they can then pay out.
The answer is no – slots don’t pay back a different amount based on time of day, day of the week, what part of the month, or any other scenario like that.
Slots’ payback are achieved over a long window of time and millions of spins. Casinos set up a machine with a certain payback option and let the machines do their work. There will be times when they pay out more or less because of the random nature of the machine – any outcome within the machine’s set of outcomes is possible at any point thanks to the Random Number Generator.
That set of outcomes includes losing and winning spins. It includes progressive jackpots and tiny line hits. The big wins are part of the path a slot will take, so it doesn’t need to slow down or speed up payouts – given enough spins, and enough time, it’ll get closer and closer to its intended payback percentage.
So there isn’t any best timing to play slots, other than what works best for you and your schedule. If you feel lucky, great! Go for it – it’s a neutral choice and won’t be better or worse if you specifically opt for a different day. But you’re not going to find a financial advantage in terms of a slot’s payouts by choosing a specific time of month that you must play.
