Cash Machine was a perfect example of slot machine simplicity at its finest. But there was still room to evolve, and Everi nailed it with their follow-on, Cash Machine Jackpots. What made the original special remains, with tweaks that add some additional interest.
Let’s take a look at this variation of Cash Machine, which is now available to play online, and we’ll share where you can play it.
Base Game
The core three reel structure is still here, with the activation of 1, 2 or 3 reels available with 1, 5 or 10 credit wagers. This particular version is a single-denomination game, at $1. That means minimum bet is $1 and maximum bet is $10 (this matches the traditional structure in a casino).
Part of the reason for being a single denomination is the addition of three progressive jackpots, which are available to win on the newly added wheel.
The Cash Machine “Win What You See” mechanic is maintained – various numbers from 0 (00 on reel 3) to 10 are found on each reel, and you read the numbers straight across to determine what you’ve won. In the example above, 5 and 00 spells out 500, which means 500 $1 credits ($500).
The Zero Respin also returns – land a 0 on one or more reels without winning and the other reels will respin, giving you another chance at landing a number that forms a prize. Land another 0, and a second respin will occur.
Jackpot Wheel
There is now a Spin symbol available on reel 3 – this means you need to max bet to be eligible for the wheel and the progressives.
The wheel features both credit and jackpot wedges; when you land the Spin symbol you get one spin to determine your prize.
This is the only bonus element effectively, with the Zero Respin acting as the base game feature. Otherwise all the money is still found on the reels.
