Base Game
This is a 5×4 reel set slot that actually features in two variations – a 40 line variant and a 1,024 way variant. Both are available on DraftKings Casino, but our review will focus on the 1,024 ways version. That means no pay lines – any combination of symbols on consecutive reels that match the pay table will award a win. This opens the door for multiple symbols to appear on a reel and generating multiple ways to win.
To help things out, there’s multiple types of stacked wild symbols. They’re differentiated by color, and they’re there to help increase the number of winning combinations on the reels. Wilds only appear on reels 2-5.
There’s 10 pay table symbols on the reels (not counting wilds or bonus symbols): 4 premium and 6 lower paying symbols. The premium symbols begin to award wins when achieving three of a kind, whereas the lower paying symbols require at least four of a kind.
Multiplier Feature
The premium symbols found on the middle reel can appear with multipliers of 3x or 5x. When a combination lines up with the multiplier, the line hit is multiplied by 3x or 5x accordingly.
Jackpot Awards
Jackpot symbol overlays can appear on symbols on any of the five reels, which are how the static jackpots can be awarded. When three consecutive reels or more land with the word jackpot, a prize is awarded.
Which prize is awarded depends on how many consecutive reels has the jackpot symbol overlays, with the prize growing as the number of consecutive reels increases:
- 3 Jackpot Symbols: Minor Catch Level Jackpot
- 4 Jackpot Symbols: Major Catch Level Jackpot
- 5 Jackpot Symbols: Monster Catch Level Jackpot
The static jackpot amounts adjust relative to your bet, so your odds of winning one are the same regardless of your bet amount.
Bonus Pick
Getting bonus symbols on each of the first three reels triggers the bonus. It starts with a bonus picker, where you can select between Fishing Bob’s Free Games and the Bobber Bonus. A credit prize is awarded when you make your selection. More than one bonus symbol can appear on a reel; when that happens your final bonus prize is multiplied by the number of initiating ways that triggered the bonus.

Here you’ll start with five free games. The bonus can be retriggered for an additional five games. Here, though, if you get multiple bonus symbols on a reel, you’ll get 5 free spins for each way that yields a combination, which can add up quickly!
Bobber Bonus
If you opt for this bonus you’ll be given the choice of three locations. Your choice of location will reveal 2, 3 or 4 bobber picks. Most bobbers will award 10-575 coins x the bet multiplier, but you also have the chance to find the Golden Fish Trophy.
What the trophy offers will vary based on the location:
- Lake Michigan: The Golden Fish Trophy triggers the Bear Bonus, where you pick picnic baskets. Each chest contains a multiplier from 1-5x, except one which contains the Golden Fish Trophy. When the Golden Fish Trophy is found, you are awarded 200 coins x the bet multiplier, times the multiplier of the final chest you opened with a multiplier prior to the Golden Fish Trophy. If you pick the trophy first, the multiplier is automatically 1x, meaning 200 coins x the bet multiplier.
- Lake of the Woods: The Golden Fish Trophy triggers the Wolf Bonus, where you pick wolves, each worth 200-800 coins x the bet multiplier, until you find the Golden Fish Trophy. The Golden Fish Trophy ends the bonus and awards everything collected to that point.
- Yellowstone River: The Golden Fish Trophy triggers the Eagle Bonus, where you pick eagles, each worth 160-625 coins x the bet multiplier. However, this is an offer-based bonus. After you pick your first eagle, you have the option to take the offer or pick again. You get up to three offers. The bonus ends when you either take an offer, reach the final offer or find the top prize of 625 coins x the bet multiplier.
