The Fu Nan Fu Nu slot machine is a classic game from AGS that has time-tested features that players love. Fans of Rakin’ Bacon will certainly enjoy Fu Nan Fu Nu because Rakin’ Bacon is effectively a clone of the game! With both a free spins bonus and a picking feature, the game is structured to keep things interesting for players.
Let’s take a look at the slot, and where you can play it for real money online!
Fu Nan Fu Nu Slot Machine Base Game
The Fu Nan Fu Nu slot features a 5×3 reel set and an all ways pays structure with 243 ways to win. There’s no microbetting here – the game starts at 88 cents a spin, just like its physical casino counterpart.
The game features four poker symbols, to semi-premium symbols and five premium symbols, with stacked symbols offering some chances to build the ways won up when things line up. There’s also a wild symbol (seen only on the middle three reels) and a bonus symbol.
On occasion, a Luck Has Arrived will herald something good coming, such as a bonus trigger or a big win. It’s a banner many players watch out for because they know an exciting moment is here!
Free Spins Bonus
The Free Spins Bonus on the Fu Nan Fu Nu slot is triggered when three or more bonus symbols appear on consecutive reels starting from the left. Wilds can substitute for the bonus symbol.
When you trigger the free spins, you have a choice of volatility:
- 15 free games with a 5×3 reel set
- 10 free games with a 5×4 reel set
- 5 free games with a 5×5 reel set
The 15 free games serves as the “safest” choices, offering more spins but smaller win potential per spin, vs. the 5 free games with taller reels, but less chances to line something up. Over the long term they’ll even out, but in any one bonus one could outperform the other.
Keep in mind there’s also the ability to retrigger, adding additional spins to the bonus, equivalent to the number you started with based on the free spins choice you picked.
Jackpot Pick Bonus
Any wild symbol can trigger the Jackpot Pick Bonus. The chances of the wild triggering it increase with bet in any denomination, as the jackpots are all flat prizes here that don’t change within a given denomination (while similar to the physical casino here, the flat jackpots would be progressives at a physical casino).
This predetermined picking screen gives you 12 choices – the first prize that you match three of a kind is what you win. The picking is just for entertainment purposes, as the prize has been decided at the time the bonus is triggered.
