It didn’t take long from its launch for the Huff N’ Puff series to begin seeing extensions. From the beginning the extensions included simple steps forward. Huff N’ More Puff added a wheel. Huff N’ Even More Puff added a second wheel. And now the Huff N’ Even More Puff Grand version has launched, and yes, it sees a third wheel.
With the third wheel comes new variations of the buzzsaw symbols to shortcut right to the top wheel, another new jackpot tier, and some new bonus variations that also incorporate a fourth level of house, the Palace.

Base Game
The base game is as seen before, with the same pay table as its two predecessors. However, the bet increment has increased by another 25%. This means 40% of your overall bet is designated towards those bonuses relative to Huff N’ More Puff – the volatility, which was already high, has gotten even higher.
Wolf symbols remain wild and can line up with any of the 11 pay table symbols. It’s an all ways win slot, so enough stacked symbols across reels can still offer some value, although it gets increasingly difficult as the bet amount grows.
There remain two ways to get into a potential bonus – six hats, which trigger the standard bonus, and the wheel, which can award an array of options.
Free Games Feature
The base bonus is always the same – six hats to land free spins, which can award a frame, or upgrade a frame if one already exists. Three or more reel spaces with hats in a single spin add an extra spin, giving you more time to collect and upgrade frames.
On all but the Ultra bonuses, which are new to this game, your top frame remains the Mansions (gold brick) frame. If you have a hat land where you have the best frame possible, it will move to another reel space, and upgrade that one instead. If all reel spaces have the top frame available, you’ll win 10x your bet.
The Mansions bonus automatically awards a gold brick Mansions border; all the other non-Ultra bonuses start with straw, upgrading to stick and then gold bricks, following the path of the three little pigs.
Wheel Feature
Like Huff N’ Even More Puff, three buzzsaws land the wheel feature. A gold buzzsaw as part of the triggering combination (found only on reel 5) starts you with the Super Wheel, and the newly-added diamond buzzsaw as partof the triggering combination (and also only found on reel 5) will jump you right to the new Ultra Wheel.
Each layer features better wedges, but all feature a combination of:
- A bonus prize, the options of which grow as you move up the wheels
- A free games bonus type, which also improves as you move up the wheels
- Upgrade, found on the first two wheels, which moves you up to the next wheel
The Ultra Wheel features three new bonus options, aside from others players of the previous game will already know. A common thread is that a fourth level house, Palaces, can be achieved on any of the following bonus.
- Ultra Mega Mansions Feature: like the Mega Hat feature, big mansion symbols will spin on the double tall reel set. Wherever the mansions are awarded, they will add gold mansion borders. Any new spaces will start with straw, and any gold brick bordered spaces with land a hat will upgrade to a diamond palace border.
- Ultra Hat Feature: During the bonus, double and triple hat symbols can upgrade borders by two or three levels on a single spin.
- Ultra Palaces Feature: Each space where a buzzsaw appears will be awarded the diamond border, which is replicated in position to start on the top half of the double-reel set. All hats that land throughout the feature are automatically awarded a diamond border; any hats landing on a space that already has one will award it on a different space instead.
Houses can reveal credit prizes and bonus prizes, and at the mansion level only can also reveal a wheel spin of any of the three levels, Palaces do not offer a wheel, and no prize above Grand can be won on any single house. The more recently added Super and Ultra are left to the wheels.
Interestingly, the Ultra bonus prize, the latest addition on the bonus prizes tiers (meaning there’s now six on hand), is only available to be won if you trigger a Free Games bonus, get a mansion, and the mansion reveals the Ultra Wheel. Otherwise, your best possible outcome on the Ultra Wheel in terms of bonus prizes is the Super, still quite a good prize.
