The Mystery of the Lamp series has been a hit with players in casinos, so it’s a natural to make the jump to online real money gaming. With three bonus upgrades available to a Hold & Win Bonus, it also offers a different sort of experience vs. other three-pot games.

Let’s take a look at the new online slot Mystery of the Lamp Treasure Oasis, and we’ll show you where you can play it if you’re in a state that allows for real money slot play online.

Base Game

Mystery of the Lamp Treasure Oasis is a 5×3 reel set with 50 paylines and a minimum bet of 80 cents. There are 10 base game pay symbols, six of which are poker symbols and four of which are premium symbols. There’s also a wild symbol, which appears on reels 2-5 and can be stacked to facilitate larger line hits.

Instead of traditional bonus symbols there’s also three different gem symbols, which relate to the three lamps at the top of the screen. Regular slot players will be familiar with the three-pot mechanic, and as such the gems can cause one or more lamps to trigger, with the related upgrade carrying forward to the bonus.

What’s different is instead of upgrading a free spins bonus, this upgrades a Hold & Win Bonus, which is the only bonus available on the game.

There are five jackpots on this game – for the online version these are flat jackpots, that shift proportionally with your bet. These are all available to be won within the Hold & Win Bonus when the Jackpot upgrade is activated.

Mystery of the Lamp Hold & Win Bonus

The standard Hold & Win Bonus rules will be familiar – you get three spins to land an item – these can be credit prizes or gems in the case of this bonus. Credit prizes are locked and held for the remainder of the bonus. Each time something lands, your spin counter resets to three. If at any time you fill the board with credit prizes, you win the Grand jackpot.

The default configuration of the reels remains 5×3, but now they act as 15 individual spaces. Additional features come from which lamps are activated:

• Double: When activated by the purple gem, the Double feature will double prizes locked on the reels up to 10 times when a purple gem lands during the bonus.
• Ignite: When activated by the orange gem, Ignite will select a locked prize that will increase in value every spin for the remainder of the bonus.
• Jackpot: When activated by the white gem, the five jackpot prizes will be in play, and the size of the board expands to 5×6, with 30 individual spaces to collect prizes. Each white gem that lands will award a gem towards one of the jackpots, with three gems of a jackpot awarding that prize. The Major and Grand can only be won once per bonus this way, but the Mini, Minor and Maxi can be won multiple times.

Multiple lamps being activated means multiple of the upgrades will be available concurrently. If the bonus is triggered without all three lamps being activated, the gems of the inactivated lamps can land on the reels, and potentially activate those lamps and their accompanying features, while inside the bonus. Should Jackpot activate this way, the 15 individual reel spaces will expand to 30, opening up more room for prizes and gems to land.
