Quick Hit Blitz is the latest in a long line of Quick Hit titles. It introduces some new wrinkles though. The first is, the Quick Hit jackpots are actually available in the bonus round! Most versions boxed them out in favor of flat, multiplied, prizes. The second is that it allows for up to 12+ Quick Hit symbols, as opposed to the traditional 9, meaning instead of five jackpots there’s eight.
That’s not all that makes this game special, however, and when the game leapt from casinos to online there were additional tweaks introduced. So let’s take a look at Quick Hit Blitz and where you can play it with real money online!
Quick Hit Blitz Base Game
The game is a traditional 5×3 reel set with 20 lines. And, in a nice scenario, the minimum bet on this version is just 20 cents, great for low rollers.
Because this game, like many online, don’t utilize progressive structures, the Quick Hit prizes are flat multiples of your bet. This means the conventional wisdom that you should max bet on Quick Hit games is not necessary here, as you qualify for the same prizes relative to your bet, regardless of bet level, so you aren’t missing out on anything.
Like many Quick Hit games, there’s multiple 7s that pay mixed, multiple bars that pay mixed, and only seven pay table symbols, along with the Quick Hit, Wild and Bonus symbols. This keeps the volatility down somewhat, thanks to the mixed symbols.
Of course, this is offset by the now eight jackpots since you can get up to to three Quick Hit symbols on every reel, meaning you could get a full screen of 15 theoretically. And with more Quick Hit symbols on the reels, there’s more potential blockers to get in the way.
Quick Hit Jackpots
Getting three or more Quick Hits in a single spin on the game will pay a Quick Hit prize. These are flat prizes that are a multiple of your bet:
- 3 Quick Hit Symbols: 1x your bet
- 4 Quick Hit Symbols: 2x your bet
- 5 Quick Hit Symbols: 5x your bet
- 6 Quick Hit Symbols: 10x your bet
- 7 Quick Hit Symbols: 25x your bet
- 8 Quick Hit Symbols: 50x your bet
- 9 Quick Hit Symbols: 100x your bet
- 10 Quick Hit Symbols: 250x your bet
- 11 Quick Hit Symbols: 750x your bet
- 12 Quick Hit Symbols: 2,000x your bet
Quick Hit Blitz Bonus
Getting the Free Blitz Spins symbol on reels 2, 3 and 4 trigger the free spins bonus. In each round, 3 spins are awarded. Your goal is to collect a certain number of Quick Hit Blitz symbols per round.
Each round you successfully complete, another row is added to the reels and an additional four pay lines are added (as symbols still pay during the bonus round). Your jackpot prize also increases, and your free spin count resets to 3. The levels progress as follows:
- Round 1: 5×3 reel set, 5 symbols needed, 4x jackpot awarded if unsuccessful
- Round 2: 5×4 reel set, 10 symbols needed, 5x jackpot awarded if unsuccessful
- Round 3: 5×5 reel set, 15 symbols needed, 10x jackpot awarded if unsuccessful
- Round 4: 5×6 reel set, 20 symbols needed, 25x jackpot awarded if unsuccessful
- Round 5: 5×7 reel set, 30 symbols needed, 50x jackpot awarded if unsuccessful
- Round 6: 5×8 reel set, 40 symbols needed, 100x jackpot awarded if unsuccessful
- Round 7: 5×9 reel set, 55 symbols needed, 250x jackpot awarded if unsuccessful
- Round 8: 5×10 reel set, 70 symbols needed, 750x jackpot awarded if unsuccessful
- Round 9: bonus complete, with 2,000x jackpot awarded as final prize
