The Triple Jackpot Gems slot machine is a great example of what has made Everi’s three-reel slot machine options so compelling: Regular wins, multiple wilds that help connect lines more frequently, and the chance for multiple progressives, including one when you hit the top wild symbol on line 9.
There’s no bonuses or features to take money out of the line hits, so all the money is front and center on a very straightforward game. Let’s take a look at it in more detail, and talk about where you can play it for real money online.
Base Game
The game is a high denomination that incorporates nine pay lines. Playing all nine pay lines is important because the top progressive is unlocked only when all nine lines are active. The version we tried of this game was a 50 cent denomination.
The game consists of 7s, bars and wilds. Mixed 7s and Mixed Bars pay, albeit lower amounts. Matching three of the same symbol will pay more.
There are also three wild symbols, which can help complete line pays. One of the wild symbols has a 3x multiplier, so getting a line hit with one will yield a 3x pay, and with two a 9x pay. Between the three wilds and the 3x multipliers, the Triple in Triple Jackpot Gems makes a lot of sense.
Progressive Jackpots
The Triple Jackpot Gems slot machine features five progressive jackpots. The lowest progressive is available for lining up any three wilds on a pay line. The next three progressives award for three of the same wild on a pay line.
The top progressive is if you line up three of the 3x wild symbols specifically on line 9. That is where the big money lands.
The game is set up as a single denomination game because of the progressive structure, and you can choose how many lines you wish to play, but to maximize the potential all nine lines need to be active.
The version I played was a 50 cent denomination version. Physical casinos have had the game at various denominations such as quarter and dollar; we’re not sure if online casinos select which they want to have, so the max bet amount ($4.50 in the version we reviewed) varies by online casino.
