With triple-pot perceived persistence games proliferating on in-person casino floors, it stands to reason that they would make their way online too. Triple Stones goes a somewhat unique direction with a triple-pot style setup above a set of mechanical reels, changing up things in some ways that are a bit different than you’d usually expect.
Let’s look at Triple Stones and how it works, and we’ll share where you can play it online for cash!
Base Game
This is a pretty simple setup – you’re betting five lines, with a minimum bet 50 cents on the version we played – not as low as some games we’re playing, but for this type of game not extravagant either, given many mechanical reel style games are set up as higher limit options.
The game features only a few symbols – three bar symbols which pay mixed, a 7 symbol, and then Diamonds (I guess what they mean by Triple Stones) and various wilds, which we’ll cover separately in a moment.
With the mixed bars, minimal amount of symbols and so forth, this is not going to be a massively volatile game. In fact, with the Grand jackpot, its highest payout, being 1,000x your bet, that’s another pretty good sign this shouldn’t be too rough a ride. The bonus chase and the triple pot structure though means it’ll still have ups and downs.
Wild Symbols
These deserve their own separate mention in part because of their importance. Wilds appear on all three reels; some incorporate multipliers of 2x or 5x. As you would expect, the can help complete lines, and multipliers will boost the line hits.
But they also pay on their own, so if you get a wild outside of a line hit, you’re still going to get something for them, and since they can often fall on multiple lines, that is helpful to keeping things going while looking for a bigger line hit or bonus.
Multiple wilds with multipliers can combine – a 2x and a 5x would make a line 10x its value, for instance. And three wild multipliers on a single line pay the best of all, given three wilds by itself is worth 25x your wager.
Triple Stones Diamond Bonus Features
Diamonds appear on all three reels in three different colors. Any diamond can trigger the bonus, and as you go along the diamonds will grow, meaning nothing for your bonus chances but encouraging you to keep going.
Depending on which diamond(s) trigger the bonus, you’ll see your bonus upgraded in various ways. Your default is 7 free spins. Each Diamond adds something:
- Red Diamond doubles the number of free spins you get.
- Blue Diamond adds jackpot symbols to the reel
- Purple Diamond adds a second set of reels.
Multiple upgrades can be triggered for a single bonus.
Jackpots
The game features three flat jackpots that are proportional to your bet. Getting a Jackpot symbol on the first two reels, and one of the three jackpot prizes on the third reel, awards the jackpot. It can only be won during the free spins when the Blue Diamond enables the Jackpot Symbols upgrade for that bonus.
