Wheel of Fortune Triple Extreme Spin was a popular game on the casino floor in its hey day, but was set up on a special cabinet with three wheels that was quite the spectacle, so it stands to reason as those machines were removed from casino floors, the game all but disappeared.
The good news is that the game has found a second life online, with all the components that made it special before. Let’s do a deeper dive into the game, and how you can play with real money with online casino options!
Base Game
This is an all ways pays game, with an unusual 3-4-5-4-3 reel set. This yields 720 ways to win, and it’s 50 credit bet increments, meaning a 50 cent minimum. Winning pays are both left to right and right to left, further opening the door to winning opportunities.
There are nine standard pay table symbols, five of which are lower-paying fruit symbols and four premium symbols. Wilds also appear on reels 2, 3 and 4 and substitute for all but the top paying standard pay table symbols, a twist that’s a bit unusual but given how much the top symbol pays, it makes sense.
Then there is a scatter symbol that links to a mini bonus (more on that in a moment) and bonus symbols, which appear in the middle three reels and can be stacked.
So, there’s lots of competing symbols but there’s also a lot of opportunities for wins thanks to some stacked symbol potential that can take advantage of the all ways pays format.
Mini Wheel Bonus
Three or more scatter symbols yield the Mini Wheel Bonus. Each scatter symbol turns into a Mini Wheel (makes sense, right?) and lands on a credit prize. You can win anywhere from 50x to 3,850x the coin value (which is how much each credit is worth).
These tend to happen relatively frequently and so they don’t pay a ton, but getting some additional wins helps to keep you in the hunt for the bigger bonuses.
Triple Extreme Spin Bonus
Three or more bonus symbols trigger the Triple Extreme Spin Bonus. For each bonus symbol you collect you get one pick from a screen of 12 options. Each will award either a red, blue or yellow arrow, linked to that color wheel.
Each wheel has three pointers; if during the picking you manage a fourth pointer, which is rare but can happen, you’re awarded a credit prize in lieu of the additional pointer. If no red or blue pointers are selected, meaning all were multiplier pointers, one red pointer will be lit up to ensure a prize is won.
The blue wheel has a smaller credit prize range, the red wheel a larger credit prize range, and the yellow wheel multipliers that will multiply those prizes. If you get more than one arrow on a wheel, you win multiple wedges, either multiple credit prizes on red/blue or multiple multipliers (which are added together) on yellow.
At the end, all the credits won are multiplied by the final multiplier, and then again by the coin value, to determine your final prize.
