Games with Collect features are quickly becoming commonplace online, and Inspired’s Wolf It Up is a great example. The ability to collect cash prizes on any spin remains, but the addition of a wheel to offer two ways to trigger Free Spins is nice, as is the open-ended nature of the Free Spins itself.
Let’s zoom in on the key features of Wolf It Up, and where you can play it today.
Wolf It Up Base Game
The Wolf It Up slot machine is a 10 win line slot and a very accessible minimum bet of 10 cents per spin accordingly. Of course, the bets can go a lot higher should you prefer, but the game is affordable for those lower betting players.
There are 9 base slot pay table symbols here; five poker symbols and four premium symbols. The top symbol, the Wolf (which makes sense given the game name), is stacked and pays as little as two symbols on a payline from the left, offering some help on those line hits.
On top of those, there’s wild symbols on the middle three reels, which can further help with winning line hits. In addition, there’s apple symbols with cash on reels, which get awarded when you find a collect symbol on reel 5.
Reel 5 also has a bonus collect symbol, which can be awarded when four apples also appear on the first four reels. That combination triggers the Free Spins, and collects all the apple cash on reels prizes as a starting point.
Apples without a collect or bonus can also trigger a wheel spin randomly, which can award one of the four flat bonus jackpots, as well as the Free Spins. The four bonus jackpots are a multiple of your bet, as opposed to numbers that don’t change, meaning the odds of winning them on any bet level are going to be the same.
Free Spins
When awarded on the wheel, the Free Spins give you 8 free spins to start. The Wheel is still in play, which continues to be able to be triggered randomly by any apple that appears on the first four reels. However, the Wheel now consists of additional Free Spins, and the Major and Grand bonus jackpots.
The Collect symbol is still there, collecting apples as well. But also on the reels are discs labeled with the four bonus jackpots. Collect enough discs and you can be awarded the jackpots. Jackpots can be won more than once, presuming enough discs has been collected to win them again.
Fortune Spins Mode
You can also activate fortune spins mode, which limits the reels to just blank spaces, apple cash on reels symbols, and the collect and bonus collector symbols on reel 5. You’re basically playing for cash on reels and bonuses at that point. This version can still award the wheel randomly from any apple that lands, offering a second chance at the free spins, along with the four bonus jackpots.
In effect, you have the chance to play two different slots in one game!
Gamble Feature
When you get a big enough win, you can be presented with the chance to gamble your win for either a bigger prize or free spins. With this, the gamble feature is a true odds feature based on the percentages shown on the wheel (indicated as green for a winner or red for a loser) – you can either improve your position or lose it all.
Since the house edge is already baked into the main game, it’s nice that the gamble feature doesn’t take a further cut.
