Playtech has seen strong success with their Collect ‘Em slot series, and their follow-on Collect ‘Em & Link. Building upon titles such as Breaking Bad Collect ‘Em & Link is one of their latest, Wolves! Collect ‘Em & Link.
The key features you’ve come to know and love in the series persist, including the ability to collect cash on reels prizes, enjoy a Collect & Link hold and respin experience, and earn Free Games, all through the universal Collect ‘Em symbol, which is doing much of the heavy lifting here. If that wasn’t enough, a Mega Link wrinkle adds additional weight to the Collect & Link opportunity.
Let’s dive into what you can expect from Wolves! Collect ‘Em & Link, and where you can play it in the U.S.
Base Game
Like other games in this series, Wolves! Collect ‘Em & Link is a 5×3 reel set with 30 pay lines. There’s nine core pay table symbols: four royal symbols, two semi-premium symbols, and three premium wolf symbols. In addition to those, wilds symbols appear to help line up the pay table symbols.
There’s also a set of coin symbols, starting with the Collect ‘Em coin, which appears on reels 1 and 5 (meaning on occasion two can appear, collecting other coins that land twice). Collect ‘Em coins collect the other coin types that appear.
Those other coins can contain credit prizes, a diamond (which represents one of four flat Collect ‘Em Prizes), +# symbols which award Howling Free Games spins, and Link & Mega Link coins, which trigger the Collect & Link feature.
Collect ‘Em coins can nudge into place from outside the reels to trigger the feature when it doesn’t land naturally and other coins are available to be won via the Collect ‘Em Feature.
Collect ‘Em Prizes
Four fixed amount jackpots appear over the reels and are proportional to the bet amount selected at the time. When a Diamond appears along with a Collect ‘Em symbol, or landing in a Collect & Link Feature, one of the four fixed jackpots are awarded.
Collect & Link Feature
When a Link or Mega Link coin appears along with a Collect ‘Em coin, the Collect & Link Feature is awarded. Three spins are awarded to land more coins, with the triggering Link and Mega Link coins converting to credit prizes to get things started.
Successfully landing another coin (which can award credits, a Collect ‘Em Prize or Free Games) resets the counter back to three spins.
The feature ends when three spins complete without landing another coin, or all 15 spaces are filled. All prizes collected are awarded, and if the entire board is filled, the Grand Collect ‘Em Prize is awarded.
If the feature is awarded with a Mega Link coin, the process is the same, except some spaces will see multipliers added. Any prize (other than a Collect ‘Em Prize coin) will be multiplied by the multiplier, whether free spins or credit prizes.
Howling Free Games
Any +X coin along with a Collect ‘em Coin awards the number of spins that X represents. If multiple +X coins appear, the X values are added up to determine the total number of spins awarded.
During the Free Games, Collect’ Em symbols that land on the reels (during the Free Games they can appear on any reel) can remain frozen for up to 10 spins, heavily increasing the opportunity to collect more coins. Additional free games can be collected, along with credit prizes and diamonds for Collect ‘Em Prizes.
Multiple Collect ‘Em symbols can appear at one time; each coin is collected each time a Collect ‘Em symbol appears on the reels for that spin.
Extra Bet
This slot features an optional extra bet that, when turned on, will award a Collect & Link feature when any coin appears with a Collect ‘Em symbol. The extra bet doubles the total bet amount.
If you’re a bonus fan, this amplifies your chance to collect some awesome prizes! But if not, don’t worry – the Collect ‘Em symbol can still find those Collect & Link bonuses naturally, too.
