While slots often get a lot of attention at casino conferences like G2E, innovation takes place well beyond the slots category. Whether it’s scenarios like streamlining casino gift opportunities or platforms that improve customer service, technology and creativity continue to drive amazing improvements throughout the casino.
One company that has been consistently impressing me is Interblock. Since we launched Flip The Switch, I’ve had the chance to visit with Interblock a few times, and each time they’ve shown me something truly transformational and impressive.
First, it was their Smart Pit solutions that leverage live dealers while incorporating Electronic Table Game (ETG) betting screens, combining the efficiency of ETGs with the fun and excitement of live dealers. Then, it was their AMUSE line of creative options that add dynamic new directions for the casino floor.

But perhaps their latest addition to their lineup is the most exciting, especially for those who play at tribal gaming facilities – the launch of Class II ETGs. Peter Herem, SVP of Sales for Interblock, confirmed the availability of the game for casinos this quarter.
Harem said that this unique offering will open the door to ETGs in locations that could not previously offer it.
“Class II Roulette will be a game-changer in markets where traditional table games aren’t permitted, but Class II (bingo-based) gaming is allowed,” he said. “These include many tribal jurisdictions where players have long expressed a desire for authentic table game options. For many of our customers, this opens the door to bring Interblock to their floors for the first time and for existing partners, it’s a new way to engage players and expand their offerings.”
From a player’s perspective, this will look and feel like Interblock’s other ETGs offerings in various markets. The interface is consistent with other Interblock products, assuring a familiarity to those who are fans of Roulette and other Interblock titles.
Harem said, “From the player’s perspective, the experience is seamless – it looks, feels, and plays just like traditional roulette. The inclusion of Bingo occurs entirely in the background to meet regulatory compliance. Players won’t notice a difference in gameplay, pacing, or outcomes.”
We asked if, since Bingo was now incorporated, if the odds of a particular number came up would remain the same as if using a physical roulette wheel, for instance. Harem confirmed players should expect an identical experience from that perspective.
“Class II table games must maintain the same integrity and mathematical probabilities as traditional table games,” he said. “While the underlying mechanics include a bingo-based system to comply with regulatory requirements, the gameplay experience, including the odds and outcomes, remains true to what players would expect in a regulated Las Vegas-style environment.”
We also asked if the payouts would be consistent with other Roulette offerings. “Yes, the payouts are consistent with traditional roulette formats,” Harem confirmed. “Whether a player is playing American Roulette with ‘00’ or ‘000,’ the odds and payouts are aligned with what they’d find in Class III environments.”
For those who are a fan of other table game formats, Interblock confirmed they are looking to expand the line-up over time for Class II casinos.
“Roulette is just the beginning,” Harem said. “We’re committed to building a full suite of Class II ETGs that deliver the same premium Interblock experience players and operators have come to expect. There’s a strong appetite in Class II markets, and we’re responding with innovation – the roadmap is packed with exciting additions.”
