Players have all sorts of questions, but some players know how to go for the most critical questions:
This is the single-most important question in slot gaming today:
Is it just me, or does the major jackpot coin on Dragon Link sound like a slap in the face?
The gaming community can not rest until this is answered.

Some of us on the Flip The Switch team have never won a major, despite Brian Christopher winning Major jackpots randomly on live streams. For those of us in that position, it doesn’t just sound like a slap in the face, but it sounds like a slap in OUR face.
Seriously though, that sound can come our so rarely on the link series of games, and on more recent ones Aristocrat has upped the sound ante a bit by also embedding that sound when a particularly strong credit prize comes out (200x on Buffalo Link anyone?).
It’s an effective way to draw attention to these bigger prizes, but can also be a frustration point for those who can’t seem to land them.
It’s not unlike when a slot manufacturer introduced the Bonus Guarantee, a way to ensure players didn’t get 0 bonuses. But the way it was implemented, loud noise, big logo in your face, frustrated players – because it meant the bonus sucked. Why draw attention to the fact you’re not doing all that well?
That hasn’t seemed to impede the popularity of the link games; perhaps because nothing was won at the time it happens people can shake it off, but it can still be a reminder that you’re still patiently awaiting your turn for a Major progressive jackpot (let alone the Grand). But it is also one of those series-specific touches that makes the games stand out from others like it on the casino floor.
