The first time you fly into Las Vegas Airport it’s impossible to miss the unique thing you find there and at nearly no other airport: The slot machines. They’re scattered throughout the airport, and so naturally some wonder about other aspects of the operation:
Where are the cash attendants located in the airport?

The amount of slots you’ll find in many sections don’t always justify someone on duty next to every grouping, so they tend to be spaced out. For instance, in the C gates, there’s one station right after you get through security and enter the gates, and another further down near the end of the people mover to get people to/from the baggage area.
So it’s not unusual to need to walk around a bit to find them. If you see a computer monitor on a stand, or a station with glass windows, you’ve found your place. And they have stations both before and after security, so you can get paid whether you’re at the gate or at baggage claim.
These same people are responsible for paying out jackpot handpays, so on occasion they will leave their stations for a couple of minutes to attend to something outside the zone their station’s in, but they’ll come back to that station when they’re done. Unless something’s going on (or perhaps when on a break, depending on staffing), they’ll be at their booths in the absence of something else going on.
The airport doesn’t have any ticket machines, so you do have to find a person to redeem those tickets manually. But on the bright side, that also means they have exact change to pay out, so you don’t get stuck with the pennies left over as another ticket either.
The next time you’re walking by groups of slots, look for those desks, computer monitors, and glass panels and you’ll likely find what you’re looking for.
