Slot machine maker Bluberi has come on strong in recent years, buoyed by a series of popular games, including Devil’s Lock. But as of this writing, it’s missing in one conspicuous gaming market: Nevada.
What’s with Vegas and the Devil‘s Lock or the new Devil’s Lock All In machines? I can’t seem to find them anywhere in Vegas.

For a slot machine to be released in a certain market, a couple of things need to happen:
- A company needs to be licensed in a particular market.
- A slot machine needs to be certified for a certain market, having passed third-party lab testing that confirms that the game is eligible to be released there.

More than one fourth of those polled on the Brian Christopher Slots YouTube page don’t have them at their local casino; of the rest, and there’s good reason: In the case of Bluberi, Nevada is a market that has long been on their radar (they even have their U.S. headquarters based there), but they had yet to be licensed to release games in Nevada.
This will change soon, as they’re pursuing licenses in Nevada and other larger markets, like New Jersey, as their company continues momentum thanks to the success of a number of games in their portfolio. Once their company is licensed, they can get their games certified and be released as well.
So these two steps are still in the process of being completed before Bluberi can make its entrance in Nevada. For now, they’ve made great progress in a lot of other markets, such as California and Florida, and have been building a name for themselves with innovative games.
With a massive investment landed earlier this year to help fuel the company’s growth, it’s inevitable that they will find their way onto the casino floors in Las Vegas, Reno, Laughlin and beyond. But for now, their games await their entry, thanks to the regulatory process that ensures that games, and the game companies that make them, meet the requirements to be a supplier in a given market.
