Regular casino players may fantasize about what they would do if they ever won “the big one,” a life changing jackpot that could change life’s trajectory in a meaningful way. When it happens in a physical casino, it can come with a multi-hour period where the game has to be opened up and verify no malfunctions led to the win (especially when it’s a wide-area progressive offered by the slot maker).
As such, casinos often will treat the player to a comped room and a meal. (Of course, if a player opts to play a bit more along the way, we’re sure they won’t get upset.)
But what happens when you win a huge jackpot playing on an online casino? You might be at home, without others around to witness the win. And without the need to remain physically present while the win is validated, you might think the celebration is limited to the win and the mailing of a check or a bank deposit.
But it doesn’t have to be that way, and that’s one thing that BetMGM Casino treats as a special event. They maintain a program for some of their biggest jackpot winners that offers players the chance to visit MGM Resorts International properties such as in Las Vegas and enjoy special experiences as an additional moment to celebrate their major win.
While players have the option of remaining anonymous, some allowed their stories to be shared. For instance, one progressive jackpot winner followed up his January achievement with his first trip to Las Vegas in April, getting the VIP treatment thanks to BetMGM’s relationship with MGM Resorts International.
Another player won nearly $900,000 on a $2 bet, and too was rewarded with a uniquely crafted Las Vegas trip, offering once-in-a-lifetime experiences, both at the casino and beyond, that turns one singular memory into multiple memorable moments throughout a multi-night visit. This is only possible because of the unique connection that BetMGM has with its partner, MGM Resorts International.
In 2024 BetMGM awarded more than $128 million in jackpots alone, including the largest ever jackpot awarded in the state of New Jersey, and their largest awarded prize in West Virginia. A growing library of games offer tantalizingly large jackpots for the person who clicks spin at just the right moment. Will you be next?
