Just as quickly as G2E blew in, the largest gaming event of the year has come to a close. After nearly a week of checking out the latest developments within the casino industry, I have had some time to compile my thoughts on my favorite topic of the week- new games!
Read on below to learn what games caught my eye from the bigger manufacturers, and subsequently landed a spot on my favorite game list.
Ainsworth

If you know me in real life, you may know that I hold a soft spot for 1960s art and literature. When getting a chance to chat with the folks over at Ainsworth, they had something to show us that leaned into the space age with plenty of modern day gaming flair.
Atomic Gold Venus is the name of the game that features an adorable pup ready for takeoff. Some players might be shy to admit it, but I will definitely pick a game simply based on the fact if I like the design or title character. After watching a few of the sequences, I really appreciated the time and effort that went into creating the art and animations for the game. My favorite is the black and white “breaking news” screen that appears right before the bonus feature. Thanks to the attention to detail and cute dog, Atomic Gold wins my ribbon for cutest game.
Aristocrat Gaming
Unfortunately for myself and readers, Aristocrat Gaming did not allow Flip The Switch into their booth. I hope in future years the gaming giant will reevaluate their hard stance on sales appointments only and recognize that our outlet can serve as an asset, highlighting their games to you, our own audience. Fingers crossed for 2026!
Bluberi Gaming

When I worked more in the Pacific Northwest, I was pretty familiar with Bluberi Gaming because they hold a strong market presence there. I really enjoyed Devil’s Lock when it first hit the market and will still grab a seat when I find the game out in the wild.
This year, Bluberi is back with another Sir Mix-a-Lot game that is making my list of favorites. I love when companies lean into the fun of gaming. This is not the field to take everything so seriously! Players, like me, are looking for lively games that make experiences at the casino fun. I love the Sir Mix-a- Lot game for its playful game play including when the screen goes black and just says outlandish, yet fitting, things like “Rump” and “Rear.” Of course, like the original, this new Sir Mix-a-Lot game includes ample sound bites from “Baby Got Back” to keep your energy up. The game also comes complete with juicy peaches clad in booty shorts.
In case you missed it from earlier coverage, Bluberi also introduced another layer of competition to the gaming floor. In Jumbo Timber Jack Going Wild, there are two bet buttons located on either side of the cabinet that act independently to fill up their own “perceived persistence” bonus meter. This is something that I have never seen before and look forward to the chance to take on the bonus meters with a gambling buddy in the future!
IGT
IGT is going to be dangerous for me once their newer titles start really hitting casino floors. This is because my general observation from their booth was “bigger and better.” IGT is not only making a lot more of their catalog into multi-denomination games, but they are combining multiple favorite titles into one game.
This is the case for one of my favorite games, Cash Machine! I was elated to see that IGT has married Cash Machine with the one and only, Wheel of Fortune. I am a big lover of both Cash Machine and the larger Wheel of Fortune cabinets. While both games can be a little (a lot) volatile, I am in it for the chase of incredible wins and wheel spins! With the Cash Machine Wheel of Fortune game, you’re looking for the beloved “spin” icon to land in the third reel. This activates the standard Wheel of Fortune wheel at the top of the game. I love this addition and think it makes a lot of sense. This wheel component gives players more to hope for, and yes, the option to respin the Cash Machine windows does happen!
Bonus Pick: IGT also has made another version of Wicked Wheel! I have always loved this devilish game but became disenchanted when my bet size increased. The new version we got to take a peek at includes multidenomination options, meaning larger bet options, and bonus wheel modifier pots!
Interblock Gaming
By far, the biggest surprise of my G2E adventure game courtesy of Interblock Gaming. While I have seen their ETG (electronic table games), complete with branded stitching on their chairs, I did not know just how “out of the box” their creations could be. This was the first year I was granted access into their booth, which is 99% blocked to outside viewers, and as soon as we walked in, I knew why.
Unlike other booths around the expo, Interblock had a lot of unique presentations and truly different ideas. Upon entering, I discovered and fell in love with “Marble Run,” a game that takes the basic principle of marble races and turns it into a captivating adventure that allows players to bet on the outcome of the race.
Similar to Marble Run, which I talked about more extensively in our day two coverage, Interblock Gaming’s Money Wall is something to behold. Just like with Marble Run, Money Wall is larger than life. If I had to guess, the entire thing must be at least 30 feet wide by 20 feet tall. This game is still in development and being kept a little hush-hush, so although we can’t share pictures or spill all the beans, we can share that you bet on the outcome of where the ball lands once it is dropped from the top of the display. If you ever watched The Price is Right, the game ball drops similarly to “Plinko.” Once this game is released, I will be making the pilgrimage to try it out wherever it debuts!
IT
Give me all the bonus action! One of the coolest games that we were able to check out, strictly based on bonus potential, came thanks to IT. Crazy Lock King of Bling gives players the opportunity to launch multiple bonus rounds after the initial trigger.
This means that after landing one bonus, you could trigger the other feature and then start cycling back and forth until your luck runs out. During our demo, Josh and I saw the game rotate through an astonishing five bonus rounds! This isn’t too typical according to the IT representative that was showing us around, but now we know the potential is really there. Make sure to check out Crazy Lock King of Bling if “bonus in the bonus” is what you’re after!
Konami

Konami is all in on Bomberman and I’m here for it! Towards the end of the week we were able to meet with Jason, a game producer from Konami’s Las Vegas studio, to walk us through the game and offer up some tidbits about the game’s rich backstory.
I was very interested to learn that Bomberman first hit the scene in 1983, and its history was on full display at the Konami booth with an arcade machine set up and playable from the series.
For this new adaption of the game, you can pick from two different flavors of the game- either Bomberman Blast or Bomberman Boom. Both versions of the game include three different features providing some nice opportunity for big wins! We will be sharing a full demo of Bomberman Blast in the future!
Light & Wonder

Some of my first gambling memories involve Ultimate Fire Link, a true staple in my title rotation anytime I head out to try my luck. There is something truly captivating about the games in this series, perhaps it’s that you only need to get four fire balls instead of the standard six, or the easy to understand game mechanics. No matter the reason, I find myself drawn to the Ultimate Fire Link cabinets and this was no exception at G2E 2025.
After taking a look at a few games around Light & Wonder’s booth, Josh and I were able to link (pun intended) with the game designer behind a new take on Ultimate Fire Link- Ultimate Fire Link Cash Falls Explosion! Kimberly took us through a full demo that will be hitting our social media pages a little later but, something that I did want to share now is the exciting “jackpot feature” that holds a ton of potential to bestow memorable wins.
This brand new addition is something that I absolutely know I will be chasing. In this bonus feature, every Fire Link ball that lands is a… you guessed it, jackpot! Ultimate Fire Link is often a title that I seek out to try and capture a big win on higher denomination. On Ultimate Fire Link Cash Falls Explosion I love the idea of being able to load in a set budget and take a crack at landing the jackpot feature on dollar denomination. While I know I won’t get a ton of chances at that high of a bet, can you imagine how delicious that feature would be? After Kimberly showed us this feature, I made an immediate mental note to add that to my casino bucket list.
Earlier in our G2E coverage, I shared the utter enjoyment about a revamped Lucky Lemmings game that will be making its way to casinos a little later on. In short, Lucky Lemmings Stampede feels like a complete reinvention of the casino cult classic. The title features a variety of feature options, stunning graphics, and hilarious Easter eggs. Read more about Lucky Lemmings Stampede here and look out for a complete game demo with the game designer on our Facebook and Instagram pages in the coming weeks.
