Good luck following that up. Last night’s Fiesta Bowl lived up to the hype, as the Miami Hurricanes stormed back in the waning moments to snag victory from the clutches of defeat. Now, their National Championship opponent will be determined by the winner of Friday night’s Peach Bowl. The top-ranked Indiana Hoosiers enter the contest as short favorites, but the Oregon Ducks have been proving naysayers wrong all season.

Once the most electric offense in college football, the Oregon Ducks have adopted a new mentality in 2025-26. The Big Ten has embraced a defense-first approach, which they have used to smother opponents all season long. They will need every ounce of effort from their starters if the Ducks hope to hand the Hoosiers their first loss of the season.
Still, the Ducks haven’t abandoned their elite offensive production. Oregon ranked among the best in total and scoring offense, churning out the 11th-most points and ninth-most yards per game. Running the ball was the priority for the Ducks, but that didn’t come at the expense of their passing offense. Altogether, their 202.5 rushing and 251.2 passing yards netted the Ducks north of 450 yards per game.
Indiana deploys a similar approach, albeit with slightly better metrics on the ground. The Big Ten champs ranked 11th in rushing offense, putting up 214.8 yards per game versus FBS foes. With that, they didn’t need to turn to the air with as much vigor. Fernando Mendoza accounted for 237.2 passing yards per game, falling 14 spots lower than the Ducks.
Clearly, both squads can move the ball offensively, meaning the winner of the Peach Bowl will be decided by which team can execute on defense. These teams stack up well at the line of scrimmage, but Oregon has been more effective at limiting the passing attack. The Ducks give up a paltry 153.4 passing yards per game, compared to Indiana’s 189.7.
With that, we’re heading into the Peach Bowl with two plays. We’re predicting another high-scoring affair at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, with this one going over the total. Further, the Ducks are rife with upset potential. Oregon pulls off the dramatic upset over the Hoosiers.
Best Bet: Over 48.5, Oregon +150
The Oregon Ducks need to beat the Hoosiers at their own game if they hope to punch their way into the National Championship. Since the start of last season, Indiana has bullied its opponents offensively, a trend that continued with its third-ranked scoring offense this season. Nevertheless, the Ducks can fight fire with fire, turning to Dante Moore in the Peach Bowl.
Oregon’s quarterback has been dynamite since the start of the campaign, but he’s seemingly gotten better as the season progressed. Moore has thrown for 257 or more yards in four of his last five, averaging 279.2 passing yards per game. Predictably, that correlates with improved efficiency, with the sophomore completing 76.5% of his passes across that sample.
While the Hoosiers were able to contain Alabama in the CFP quarterfinals, other teams have experienced success throwing the ball of late. Ohio State completed 22 of 30 pass attempts in the Big Ten Championship Game, accumulating 264 passing yards. Likewise, Purdue, Penn State, and Maryland produced better than expected results versus Indiana in the latter stages of the campaign. After Alabama’s abysmal 170-yard effort, the Hoosiers are at risk of regression when it matters most.
Higher passing volume, increased efficiency, and defensive regression play into Dante Moore’s presumed ascent on Friday night. He has an attainable 224.5-yard passing prop, but we predict he’ll soar north of that number. We’re going exotic and backing Moore to eclipse 250 passing yards in the Peach Bowl
Best Bet: Dante Moore to Record 250+ Passing Yards +210
Peach Bowl Best Bets: (5) Oregon Ducks vs (1) Indiana Hoosiers
- ORE-IU Over 48.5
- Oregon +150
- Dante Moore to Record 250+ Passing Yards +210
We’re queuing up three plays for the 2026 Peach Bowl. There’s value backing Oregon on the moneyline, in what should be a higher-than-anticipated affair. Moreover, Dante Moore is the key to the Ducks’ success and should throw for 250 yards or more.
