Wild Card Weekend was sensational. There was no shortage of drama or betting intrigue as the playoff field was whittled from 14 to eight. We’re expecting the Divisional Round to match that energy, as the premier contenders continue to battle it out for a spot in Super Bowl LX and the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
Check out which player props we’re targeting in all four Divisional Round matchups!
Buffalo Bills vs Denver Broncos
Defense will be at the forefront of the AFC showdown between the Bills and Broncos. The winner will be determined by which team makes the most of their offensive opportunities. In that regard, we have the utmost confidence in Josh Allen and the Bills. Arguably, Buffalo relies on its quarterback more than any other team in the league. Allen is either firing the ball downfield or using his legs when pass coverage holds up. Lately, we’ve seen more of the latter. Allen has toted the ball 36 times over the past four games, albeit with a more modest 125 rushing yards. Still, he’s got the keys to the offense, and we predict a mighty rushing performance in Denver.
Pick: Josh Allen to Record 50+ Rushing Yards +194
San Francisco 49ers vs Seattle Seahawks
The odds are stacked against the 49ers in the Divisional Round. San Francisco enters the contest as +7 underdogs versus the Seahawks, easily the longest odds on the board. As inferred, Brock Purdy and company could be forced to throw the ball more frequently to keep pace with their NFC West rivals. Game script notwithstanding, we’ve seen increased reliance on the passing attack in recent weeks. Purdy has gone north of 31 pass attempts in three of his last four, recording no fewer than 262 passing yards in any one of those contests. We’re betting that trend continues, with the Niners’ pivot sailing over his passing yards prop.
Pick: Brock Purdy Over 230.5 Passing Yards -114
Houston Texans vs New England Patriots
The Texans need to find a new offensive gear if they hope to extend their winning streak versus the Patriots. While Houston’s offense struggled as a whole, we predict a massive showing from Dalton Schultz on Sunday. Nico Collins’ availability is in question, which means we should see more from the other Texans’ pass-catchers. Schultz leads the team in receptions, falling second in yards and targets. A massive red zone target and the presumptive premier target versus the Pats, we’re backing Schultz as an any time touchdown scorer at Gillette Stadium.
Pick: Dalton Schultz Any Time Touchdown Scorer +200
Los Angeles Rams vs Chicago Bears
It’s been a hell of a run for the Bears, a magical journey that has continued in spite of their defensive incompetence. Chicago has given up 929 passing yards over its previous three contests, with none of those opponents recording fewer than 296 yards. The Rams have more than enough weapons to exacerbate those concerns, but none more promising than Puma Nacua. The Rams’ standout has soared past the century mark in four of his last six, a trend that will inevitably continue in the Divisional Round. We’re capping Nacua at 125+ yards, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see him exceed that benchmark.
Pick: Puka Nacua to Record 125+ Receiving Yards +205
