Many players who spend enough time learning about casinos and offers have heard of the term Average Daily Theoretical, or ADT. The basic idea is, based on the amount wagered and the house edge on the games played, it calculates the theoretical loss, or expected loss, from that amount of play. The daily part means the calculation is your play sessions over a period of time, averaged out based on how many days you played.
With that in mind:
What is considered a good ADT? Even if I knew what mine was, I would not know if it was good or bad.

As you can imagine, higher tends to be better. A higher ADT means you’re expected to lose a higher amount on a given visit. That translates to bigger comps, as generally comps are calculated as a percentage of your expected losses. That probably makes sense at a high level.
A step above that is access to hosts – higher ADT levels can improve the chances of being assigned, and having regular interactions with, a host. Players have noted some hosts very specifically talk about things like ADT when it comes to discretionary comps or even having an assigned host at all.
But one thing to consider is different casinos may factor things in differently. A Las Vegas destination casino vs. a local casino will handle comps differently, for instance. Within Las Vegas an entry level property will stack players differently than a premium one.
So sometimes, if you’re a high enough player to qualify at some casinos, being selective about where you play, to maximize your opportunity, can be strategic. This isn’t going to necessarily work out for $100 a day players, but as your daily play expectation increases, things evolve.
But the most important part: ADT, and the offers linked to it, is not a sign you should bet more. While players can be strategic about organizing their casino budgets to maximize the perks they get from offers, players should never play for comps, tier status or a higher ADT.
Instead, playing with a budget you can afford and enjoying the entertainment that comes from it should be the primary goal, with offers based on your spend being the added bonus of that entertainment activity.
