One of Playtech’s recent hits in online slots, Oink Oink Oink, returns with a new brand extension, Oink Oink Oink: Pharaohs. Much of what players love about this game continues from its original, but some new twists around the free games also offer something new.
Here’s more about what you can expect from this version, and where you can play it!
Base Game
Oink Oink Oink: Pharaohs follows in its predecessor’s footsteps with 243 ways to win on a 5×3 reel set. 10 base game pay table symbols are on offer, five of which are royals and five of which are more premium picture symbols.
As the name would suggest, an egyptian theme is adopted for this variation, with the pay table symbols and the three pigs (Grunt, Snort and Squeek) adopting a thematic look accordingly. Playtech has elevated the theme while keeping familiar elements for those who have played Oink Oink Oink, so there’s a nice combination of old and new here.
Alongside those symbols are wilds, which can help connect the line hit dots and can substitute for any of the 10 base game pay table symbols. Also returning for this version are the hammers – three or more of them automatically trigger one of three bonus. There’s also the three coin colors (red, blue and green), any one of which can randomly trigger the matching bonus.
Finally, there’s four static prizes on offer, which are available as part of the Red Coin feature.
With multiple ways to trigger bonuses and three different bonuses on offer, the Oink Oink Oink series prioritizes a frequent variety of features. That doesn’t mean the pays aren’t there – each feature can deliver something special.
Red Coin Feature
The Red Coin feature is aligned with the original Oink Oink Oink. When triggered, 12 coins appear and you’re picking to achieve three of one of the four static prizes. Whichever prize shows three of a kind first is the prize you win.
It’s a predetermined pick, so don’t stress too much over the options. But with a 20x your stake prize for the lowest option, you’re going to get something of value regardless of the final outcome. If you’re lucky, it could be the 2,000x Grand prize!
Green Coin Feature
The new aspects to this version are found here, in the free games feature. Like the original, the game will randomly determine whether the free spins will be in the 5×3 reel set, with 243 ways to win, or the 5×4 reel set, with 1,024 ways to win.
However, both versions this time come with five free games, as opposed to a random selection. Instead, the other random selection is that one of the five premium picture symbols will be selected. It, and the royal symbols, are the only pay table symbols that appear during the free games. So a taller reel set with the more premium symbols really unlocks the potential for some big wins.
Green coins continue to appear on the reels, and each coin will add one more spin to the counter, helping to keep the bonus going.
Blue Coin Feature
This is a wheel bonus that largely matches its predecessor. You spin for either a credit prize, which ranges from 5x-120x your stake, or to upgrade to either the Red or Green Coin Feature.
However, the wheel has been reformatted to have two sections. The prize options remain the same, but a second area now shows respin icons, and if you land that, you get to spin again.
