Getting Started
Divine Fortune Gold has a little something for everyone with bets offered at 10 cents all the way up to $1,000 per spin. This is a ten line game that pays left to right when matching symbols land on one of those fixed lines.
The title leans heavily into Greek mythology, something that is obvious when you take a look at the various symbols. Medusa is the top symbol, paying 10X your base bet for five on a payline. Medusa is followed by a lion, ox, and bird. Bringing up the back of the paytable, we have the standard A, K, Q, and J. These will pay significantly less than the picture symbols.
During the base game, line hits do get some assistance from an expanding wild. When you land the white pegasus symbol on any of the reels, it will expand vertically to cover the entire reel. The wilds can appear on any reels during the base game and substitutes for all symbols with the exception of Cash Prizes, Fortune Collector, Adder, and Restart symbols (we will talk about these a little later on).. When the wild hits, it will pay the highest one line outcome based on the paytable.
Cash Prize Collection
During the base game and various bonus features, you have the chance to collect cash prizes. The prizes come in three categories; bronze, silver, and gold. The bronze coins will bestow a credit amount worth 0.5, 0.8, 1, or 1.5 times your base bet. The silver coins are worth 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, or 4.5 times your bet. The gold coins are worth the most, they will give you either 5, 5.5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, or 20 times your base bet.
These coins can appear anywhere on the reels but in order to collect them, you need to land the “Fortune Collecter” symbol on either reel one or five. You can land one on each, in which case you would collect the displayed prizes twice.
Bonus Spins
In the base game, you can win a variety of Bonus Spins. The Bonus Spins are available in three different modes or levels – Bronze Spins, Silver Spins, and Gold Spins. These are represented by the three pots you will see in the lower righthand corner of your screen.
Regardless of which level you trigger, all Bonus Spins start with three spins. The reel set is configured a little differently than the base game, during Bonus Spins it is a five by five setup. Every time you capture a Cash Prize, your spins reset to three.
Each level comes with its own twist:
- Bronze Spins: The Bronze Spins can be triggered anytime you land one or more of the Bronze Cash Prizes during the base game. You are guaranteed to launch the feature if you land six or more at once. Once spins are complete, the Bronze Spin added flair comes into play – all Cash Prize values are doubled.
- Silver Spins: Just like the Bronze Spins, the Silver Spins can be triggered by one coin but is guaranteed if you snag six at once. For this bonus, at the end of the spins all coins are upgraded one tier to the next coin level. For example, Bronze becomes Silver and Silver becomes Gold. Any Gold coins before the effect takes place will be transformed into the highest tier- the Mystery Coin Symbol. There are three Mystery Coins that you can capture, the glowing Fortune Collecter, purple Adder, and the red heart Restart. If you’re lucky enough to get more than one Mystery Coin, their effects will play out in the same order: Fortune Collecter, Adder, and lastly, Restart.
- Fortune Collector: This coin will collect all Cash Prizes shown on the reel set. That Fortune Collector will then transform into a Gold coin with the total value of consumed coins displayed.
- Adder: This special coin will add a random value of 3X, 5X, 8X, 10X, or 50X the bet to a varying number of Cash Prizes. After performing its magic, this coin will also transform into a Gold value.
- Restart: This coin can bring a bonus back to life! If you capture the Restart token, your Bonus Spins will kick off for a second time. The heart token will also transform into a Gold Cash Prize worth 10X your bet. This Bonus Spins token can only appear once per game round.
- Gold Spins: You can randomly trigger Gold Spins with any Gold Cash Coin or are guaranteed the bonus if you get six. In this bonus feature, you will enjoy all the benefits of the Silver and Bronze Spins!
Extra Jackpot Prize
After your bonus spins are up, if you were able to completely fill in one or more of the displayed rows, you will win a secondary prize! One row filled will bestow the mini, two rows will grant you the Midi, three rows is worth the Maxi, four rows unlocks the Major, and if you fill all five rows you will win the top progressive Mega jackpot that fluctuates based on the last time it was won.
On a $4 bet, the Mini is $60, Midi $200, Maxi $400, the Major is worth $1,000. The Mega is the same for all bets and features a progressive amount, at the time of writing it is $169,361.97.
Elevate Features
If bonus features are what you’re after, there are a variety of paid “elevate features” that you can elect to activate.
- Bonus Hunt: When activated, this feature will increase the chance of activating the bonus spins. This is available at 1.5 your base bet.
- Bronze Spins: For 50X your base bet, this optional feature will guarantee at least one Bronze Cash Prize in the base game and will activate the Bronze Spins.
- Silver Spins: At least one Silver Cash Prize will drop during the base game and will activate the Silver Spins feature. This is available at 150X your base bet.
