Looking for a game with a few different bonus features to test your luck on? A strong contender with three different bonus options is Eternal Link Princess’ Empire by IGT. In this game you can trigger bonus games or one of two hold and spin features.
Read on below to learn how Eternal Link Princess’ Empire plays before deciding to take on the title for yourself.
How it Works
Eternal Link Princess’ Empire is a five reel game that is available at bets ranging from 20 cents per spin all the way up to $70. We will be trying the game out on $4 per spin. There are four jackpots located to the left of your reel set. These jackpots are 50x for the Mini, 100x for the Minor, 250x for the Major, and an impressive 2,500x for the top prize, The Grand.
Instead of utilizing pay lines, Eternal Link Princess’ Empire is a “multiway win” title, meaning you get paid as long as you land three or more matching symbols in consecutive reels. The win must start in reel one and work its way out to the right side of the reel set.
When it comes to symbols, the Princess is your biggest help. Five of the Princesses will pay $6 on that $4 bet. She is followed by the blue bird worth $5 for five, and then the flower and golden bird both pay your bet back for five on a line. Next up we have the standard royal options including A, K, Q, J, and 10.
Line hits do get some help from wilds in this title. This helpful symbol features a blue background with the words “wild” displayed in a golden font. The wild symbol substitutes for all symbols with the exception of the bonus icons and orbs. It can appear only on reels two, three, and four.
Bonus Free Games
To trigger the bonus free spins, you need to land three of the blue circular bonus icons. The bonus icon can appear on reels two, three, and four. When triggered, the bonus will give you 10 free spins. When in the bonus, if you land three additional bonus symbols you will be awarded an additional 10 spins. Like in the base game, the symbols can only appear on reels two, three, and four.
The action gets kicked up a notch in the base game, there is a chance to land a multiplier on each spin. The multipliers can appear as either 2X, 3X, 4X, or 5X. These symbols essentially function as a wild multiplier, making line hits that much more lucrative. These multipliers can appear on reels two, three, four, and five. You can land a maximum of three multipliers on any one bonus spin. These delicious multiplier symbols substitute for all symbols with the exception of the bonus icon, golden orb, and red orb.
Standard wilds can still land on the reels around the multipliers, making the line hits even bigger with the all ways pays structure.
Eternal Link Hold & Win Gold
About those orbs: during both the base game and bonus feature, you can trigger the Eternal Link Hold & Win Gold Feature. This is done by landing six or more of the golden orbs in any position within the reel set. When triggered, this feature will grant you three respins in hopes of capturing more orbs and their associated prizes.
If you are lucky to score nine or more of the orbs, you are given access to a second game position. A total of 18 orbs in positions one and two will unlock game position number three. A whopping 32 orbs collected between positions one, two, and three will unlock the final game position, number four. As long as you keep landing orbs, your spins will reset to three. Once you stop landing orbs and you are out of spins, the feature is over.
On a $4 bet, orbs in the Gold version of the hold and spin feature are available at a wide range starting from $2 all the way up to $40. In addition to the standard credits, you can win the Mini, Minor, and/or Major jackpot that is displayed on the left. 15 orbs on one single game position will award the Grand.
Eternal Link Hold & Win Red
The Eternal Link Hold & Win Red feature follows the same game play rules as the Eternal Link Hold & Win Gold feature. The difference between the two features is what prize credits are up for grabs and a duplication feature.
During the Eternal Link Hold & Win Red feature, credits on the red orbs are worth more than what you’ll see on the gold. Each red orb starts at $10 compared to gold’s $2. The red orbs can reach up to an $80 (on a $4 bet), before switching to the jackpots. In addition to higher credit values, the red orbs can actually duplicate themselves onto the other game positions. The orbs can duplicate regardless if the game position is inactive or active.
Eternal Pot Feature
All hope is not lost if you do not score six orbs at once. There is the chance to trigger the Eternal Pot Feature anytime you get at least one orb, either gold or red, to land. Depending on what color orb lands, you will launch into the corresponding bonus that we broke down above.
