The Basics of Le Digger
When it comes time to digging, you can choose to take Le Digger for a spin at a wide variety of bet sizes ranging from five cents all the way up to $50.
Instead of paying from left to right, Le Digger pays when you land “clusters.” These clusters occur anytime you land five or more matching symbols that touch each other. Then, the winning cluster plus any other of that symbol, anywhere on the board, are removed.
When these symbols are removed, layers are revealed. Each time a winning combination plays out, one layer of the grid is removed where those matching cluster symbols were. Then, a new layer comes into play and if another win occurs, the same thing will take place. The winning cluster and any matching symbols will be removed, then another layer is revealed.
This can happen a total of three times.
- Layer One: Includes low-paying, high-paying, Wild Dynamite,and FS symbols
- Layer Two: Includes low-paying, high-paying, Wild Dynamite,and FS symbols
- Layer Three: Includes Golden reveals with Special Symbols. We will cover Golden reveals and these Special Symbols below!
When it comes to how these symbol clusters pay, the glowing lantern will pay the most followed by the fossil, backpack, binoculars, and adventure safari hat. Five of the lanterns will give you your bet back, and 14 or more of them will pay 200X your base bet. These premium symbols are then followed up by the standard royal symbols: 10, J, Q, K, and A.
After clusters and matching symbols are done falling into and being replaced in the grid, there is a chance that Smokey, the character to the right of your screen, will throw dynamite onto the grid. Smokey can throw anywhere from one to five sticks of dynamite. When it lands, a 2X2 square will explode, removing the symbols in that space. Then, a new layer is revealed and new symbols will fall into place. If Smokey throws a stick of dynamite that will interfere with a “Wild Dynamite” symbol, that wild will explode in a 3X3 square. If you’re lucky, these sticks of dynamite can cause a chain reaction that will impact most of the board.
Golden Reveals and Special Symbols
Now, back to those Golden Reveals and Special Symbols! Special symbols can be Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Diamond Coins. Reveals can also include a Collector symbol or one of two clover options- Green or Gold.
First up, we will cover the coins that are revealed after uncovering layers. All coins wins are paid out as a multiple of your original base bet.
- Bronze Coins: Values include 1X, 2X, 3X, and 4X
- Silver Coins: Values include 5X, 6X, 7X, 8X, 9X, and 10X
- Gold Coins: Values included 20X, 30X, 50X, and 50X
- Diamond Coins: Values include 100X, 150X, 250X, and 500X
Next up, clovers and the Collector symbol.
- Green Clover: Multiplies all Coins and any existing Collectors. Can multiple values, located on adjacent grid squares, by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, 10X, or 20X.
- Golden Clover: Will multiple all Coins and existing Collectors on the entire grid. Can multiple values by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, 10X, or 20X.
- Collector Symbols: Following any activity from clovers, the Collector symbol will become active. Any present Collectors will suck up all coins and any wins from previously activated Collectors. Their value is then stored. Collectors play from the top to the bottom of your grid and then left to right. Once the Collector sucks up all the values, all Golden positions will reveal special symbols and the process can repeat until no other wins occur.
Bonus Game: Tomb Service
If you are lucky enough to capture three of the “FS” symbols, those golden nuggets are going to send you to the free spins! In this feature, you will enjoy 10 free spins that play just like the base game. Something different from the base game is the addition of the “dynamite collector” that is shown outside your slot grid. Each time a Wild Dynamite is part of a cluster win, it will be counted in that collector. At the end of the free spins, the Dynamite Collector will be activated. Smokey will throw the total number of collected dynamite out onto your grid resulting in, hopefully, even more wins.
You are able to retrigger in the bonus game. Two of the “FS” symbols collected on any one spin, will give you an additional two spins. IF you land three, you get an additional four spins.
Bonus Game: Dig It
Capturing four of the “FS” golden nuggets will kick off the Dig It bonus feature. In this feature, you again have the chance to either jump right into the bonus or gamble it. The bonus follows the same base mechanics of the game. The new feature to this bonus is the addition of the “Blast Bar” that is shown outside your grid. The blast bar increases every time symbols are removed from the grid either thanks to a cluster win or dynamite blast. The blast bar does not reset in between bonus spins, instead it remains until it is full. Once full, the blast bar will reset and then continue to fill. 85 symbols are needed to get the blast bar to reach the Silver Coin type, 100 more to reach Gold, and 115 more will get you to Diamond.
You cannot earn additional spins in this bonus.
Hidden Epic Bonus
You can access the “Hidden Epic Bonus – Gold Digger” by landing five of the golden FS nuggets. During this top tier bonus, you will enjoy 10 free spins that follow the game’s base mechanics.
