For our first ‘You Asked!’ post, let’s start out with the most basic – what is the purpose of this section? Take this as our humble mission statement of sorts.
For us, it’s all about you – the players, the Brian Christopher fans, and the casino faithful (and we know many of you are all three!). In our travels and on our social media, players have a lot of questions about slot machines, comps, casinos, travel and other related topics.
Some ask these questions in places where the answers are not always helpful, such as social media groups and online forums. Some who claim to have knowledge in these spaces attempt to help, but instead spread myths that have no basis in fact. There are a LOT of casino myths out there, having taken on a life of their own over the years, but we will aim to present factual, accurate information that will clear the air on a variety of topics.
Our team is full of players, just like you, and is headed by Brian Christopher, the top slot machine and casino influencer in the world. We’ve got connections to casinos, game makers, and others in the know about how slot machines work, and we’re able to ask the questions to the people who have designed games and brought them to fans like us. We love to ask questions ourselves, and are excited to share these answers with you as well.
So this space is yours. We’ll be accepting your questions here on the site, as well as collecting questions we receive across our various social media accounts, direct messages, and even in-person inquiries. Every day we will be answering one in this space. We aim to cover a lot of ground, but we will always be doing it to help you de-mystify aspects of casino life, games and travel that will help you feel more empowered when you enter a casino.

Not sure if this is the spot to ask a question or not, but here goes…
I would be interested in knowing some data on how smoking effects a casino. More to the point, how going from a smoking casino to non- smoking has effected those who have done it. I know Illinois casinos took a hit when they went smoke free, but have they now recovered? I HATE having to leave a machine I am playing on simply because a chain smoker sits down next to me, but with COPD I cannot stay there and put up with it. I applaud BC Slots for only playing at smoke free casinos!
