Players often have a particular time of day they prefer to be in the casino. Those who follow us on our Flip The Switch Facebook page are no exception. Here are some of those players’ preferences for when they like to play in the casino.
Early in the Morning
Some players prefer the quiet of an earlier visit:
- Morning… not as busy then enjoy a great lunch then gamble as long as I want. Sandra B.
- Early morning because I am usually in a casino that allows smoking, so the machines are clean, ashtrays have been emptied, air is fresher, and it’s not crowded. Patti C.
- Early morning, not so busy and I get up super early anyway. Leslie W.
- I try to get there by 9am. Less crowded, lots of machine availability, easy parking and way less traffic on the way. Deborah M.
- I like to go in morning times. My local casino is small and can get crowded in evenings. Jolene K.
Afternoon/Dinner Time
A second group indicate a preference for the afternoon or early evening, particularly around dinner time (which makes picking up food an additional positive):
- Just before dinner ..I want to utilize points to food and who wants to cook after gambling ? lol Dianna W.
- I like to go late afternoons and talk to people while I’m playing. Beth W.
- Morning into afternoon. Quiet early and then it’s nice to see the casino fill up and hear all the bells and whistles. Matthew S.
Evenings/Late Night
Then there are those who love the hustle and bustle of the evening casino playing… as well as sometimes other sights from that time of day. And then the casino gets quiet once more:
- I’m a nite owl so I prefer to play weekends in the evenings after 8pm. The crowd and the atmosphere just add to the whole experience. Not to mention sometimes there can be epic people watching! Jamie A.
- Apparently the wee hours…after others have spun their dollars out. Why do I say that? Because my son won 4 handpays yesterday between 12am-4am, and 9 handpays this morning before 11am. Jill P.
- I usually go to the casino on the weekends after 5pm (the hot seat and virtual barrel drawings are held during that time) or pull an all nighter and play from midnight until 4 am. Eli C.
- 2am-5am, pretty much have any slot I want to play and it is so quiet. I just sit, play and enjoy myself. Christine F.
- Late at night into the early early morning. Judy C.
