Double Shamrock is a three-reel, five-line game by AGS that captures the classic mechanical reel format that players have loved for decades. The game’s simplicity makes it an easy entry point for those new to online slots, while offering plenty of rewards for those who play.
There’s no features and no bonuses here – this game is all about the line hits! Let’s take a look at this game, and we’ll also share where you can play it for real money!
Base Game
With three reels and five lines, there’s not much to get to know. The game features Bars and 7s. They pay mixed, so lining three of anything up pays you something.
The pay table consists of three 7s and two bars. Any three bars pays a bit more than any three symbols, and any three 7s pays more. Matching three of the same symbol also pays more.
Even though this is structured like a traditional high denomination slot, you can play it for as low as 25 cents, effectively 5 cents per line – very accessible for a lower bettor, especially given the structure of the game. You can’t choose your lines here, so all five lines are always active.
Double Symbols & Jackpots
Some 7s contain double symbols. One double symbol will double the line pay and two will double it again, for a total of 4x the amount. But getting three doubles is how you trigger one of the four jackpots.
The mixed 7s pays the base jackpot, and three of a kind 7s one of the three larger jackpots. The gold double 7 is what awards the top jackpot. The jackpot can be won on any line.
The jackpots are flat jackpots, proportional to a player’s bet, so betting higher will offer higher jackpots. This also means the chances of hitting them are the same on any bet.
We appreciate AGS putting into the pay table this line: “The displayed RTP can be achieved on minimum bet,” there way of noting the payback is the same regardless of bet – you don’t have to bet higher to get a better payback. Nicely done!
