As we’ve shared before, because the moment you press the spin button is when the slot machine’s outcome is decided, so doing things that change the timing means you’d get a different outcome than if you had just pressed the button again.
Timing questions continue to roll in, so to follow up on our previous post, here’s a couple more:
Why do some people cash their ticket then insert more cash? Doesn’t change the outcome does it? Sometimes they take the ticket out and put the same ticket right back in. Weird

It does change the timing in that they are now pressing the button at a different time than when they would have if they had not cashed out the button. The challenge is we don’t know if the outcome(s) they would have had would be better or worse than the one(s) they do have.
When players do this it’s often because they think they’re “resetting” the slot somehow, if that were such a thing, which it’s not. It’s one of those superstition/control attempt sort of things that may make a player feel better but don’t ultimately do anything. But if it does make you feel better, it’s not harmful either, so you might as well do what makes you happy!
Do you think when you rapid fire a bonus you still have the same outcome as if you got a bonus naturally?
Mamata S.
Yes. How a bonus is triggered has no effect on how it pays out. Bonuses can be either predetermined or play out in real time.
If a bonus is predetermined, rapid firing it or getting it naturally won’t change what was ultimately captured at the time the spin was started, because it already knows what it will pay.
If a bonus is played out via the RNG, the outcome of the bonus would only change if you rapid fire the bonus vs. let it play out. And again, like noted above, you won’t know if you’re getting a better or worse bonus (or even the same) than if you had let it play out, because we don’t know what the other outcome(s) would have been.
So ultimately it’s again a neutral thing and is up to the player whether they want to do it or not.
