Most slot players love the concept of wilds, especially when those wilds can come with a multiplier. So Candy Paradise is a savvy game from that perspective by leaning into that functionality, making the free spins feature a strong wilds hook but also keeping players active by having a meter collecting wilds that can be activated randomly along the way.
Let’s look at this fun slot, and we’ll share where you can play it today for real money!
Candy Paradise Base Game
Candy Paradise is a 5×4 reel set with 30 lines. It’s only got 8 pay table symbols which are often stacked and can either help or hurt depending on whether or not they’re matching. There’s also wild symbols, which are also stacked, and the two bonus symbol types. One is Free Spins, found on reels 1, 3 and 5, and the other is Bonus symbols, found on reels 1 and 5.
When a wild lands, it collects in the Wild Collections meter. Each time the meter fills completely up, a Wild Swirl is added to the counter. This counter matters in two features: The Wild Respin and the Free Spins. The counter is persistent; if you leave and come back, it will still be there for you to pick up where you left off.
Wild Respin
Anytime a wild appears on a base game spin, there is a chance for a Wild Respin. When triggered, the reels respin after the initial spin is paid out. The number of Wild Swirls on the counter are added to the reels. If a swirl is added where one already exists, the multiplier increases for that wild by 1x (and can reach up to 5x).
Bonus Wheel
The other feature in the base game is the Bonus Wheel, which offers the chance to win credit prizes, increase the Wild Collection meter or award Free Spins. It is triggered when the two Bonus symbols land on reels 1 and 5.
If the Wild Swirls counter is maxed out, the Wild Collection meter wedge is replaced by another Free Spins wedge, increasing the chances of a bonus.
Free Spins
Free spins are triggered either via a Bonus Wheel award or by landing the Free Spins symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5. Triggering via the wheel can award 7, 10 or 15 spins; triggering by the symbols is 7 free spins.
Each spin, the number of Wild Swirls on the counter is added to the reels. If more than wild swirl lands on the same space, it will increase the multiplier, just like on the Wild Respin feature.
The Bonus symbols are still present on reels 1 and 5 and can offer a Bonus Wheel spin with the potential for credit prizes, additional free spins or increasing the Wild Swirl counter for the remainder of the free spins.
When the free spins conclude, the Wild Swirl counter is reset to 0, but a pick screen pops up to select from one of three objects, which will add 2 to 5 Wild Swirls to the counter, so you’re not starting back at 0.
