With hundreds of Wheel of Fortune slots having come out over the years, there’s a variety of formats that can lead you to the famous big wheel. The Ca$hLink series has had some legs, with multiple versions hitting casino floors, and in turn online casinos too.
Wheel of Fortune Shimmering Sapphires is one example, with the ability to win credit prizes instantly, along with the chance to multiply them on the big wheel.
Let’s look at the slot, and where you can play it today!
Base Game
Wheel of Fortune Shimmering Sapphires is a 5×4 reel set with 20 pay lines. Minimum bet mirrors the pay line count at 20 credits (20 cents), but it should be noted this game awards more pointers with a higher bet, so the cost to cover is $2 to get all seven pointers.
There’s only eight base game pay table symbols here – five poker symbols and three higher paying symbols. There’s also wild symbols on reels 2-5, the Ca$hLink cash on reels credit prizes and treasure chest, and the Free Spins symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5
There are five jackpots, all flat jackpots. The Minor, Major, Mega and Grand are all flat jackpots that shift proportionally with bet. The Ultra begins to increase proportionally starting at the $2 bet level; this is in part because it’s awarded on the wheel, and the number of wheel pointers increases up to the $2 level – so your chances increase with bet until that point.
Ca$hLink Feature
Any credit prizes and a treasure chest on reel 5 triggers the Ca$hLink feature, where all credit prizes are instantly collected. You can collect a credit prize or a jackpot (the four lower flat jackpots), and more than one jackpot can be awarded in a Ca$hLink feature.
Some of the credit prizes on reel 1 have a wheel border surrounding them – that plus the treasure chest triggers the Wheel Bonus.
Wheel Bonus
With the wheel bonus, you get one spin of the wheel. The number of pointers awarded is based on your bet level. Pointers can award credit prizes, one of the jackpots or a Ca$hLink multiplier, multiplying the base amount of credits collected on the Ca$hLink feature before the wheel spin.
All five flat jackpots are available here, including the Ultra.
Free Spins
Getting the three free spins symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 trigger the Free Spins bonus. 10 free spins are awarded, with retriggers possible. The Ca$hLink feature is also available during the Free Spins, but wheel spins are not.
