When you’ve had a channel as long as I have, you hear all sorts of great stories about the ways fans watch me. I’ve learned a lot of them watch me on their TV vs. their phone or computer. Many say that they “go to bed with me at night”… I’m sure to the dismay of their partners, haha.
So this question from a fan isn’t surprising either, but is fun to talk about:
I was wondering if you have a lot of Rudies as well as non Rudies tell you that they don’t tune in for the slots, they tune in for you like I do.( which is crazy because I am a huge slot slut)! I discovered you at the worst time of my life, and because you are who you are, there is a smile on my face and my heart is full of joy. And when Marco is there, it just doubles those feels. (big kudos to your mom and dad…they raised an awesome man). Thank you!! 😊 Keep lining ‘em up Buttercup.🧈🍵

That’s definitely something I hear, and it does not get old (and I can’t say I’m surprised)! The biggest difference between me playing slots, and another creator playing slots, is the creator themselves! Anyone can film themselves pressing buttons, but it’s the person that makes the stream.
And so I know that part of why many people watch is the connection to me – they invite me into their homes, even if virtually, every single day, and spend a bit of time with me. That means a lot, and I don’t ever take that for granted.

I’ve heard so many amazing stories over the years about how my videos have helped people get through a tough time. For others, it’s helped them find acceptance of members of the LGBTQ+ community, of which I’m a proud member, including stories some have shared of how they’ve been able to come to accept family members because of my example.
It’s humbling, and it means a lot to me to hear these stories, and adds deeper meaning to what is ultimately a goal of mine to bring some joy and light into everyone’s day, perhaps to escape the world for a bit and just have some fun.
Some of those who watch me even tell me during live streams and private messages that they aren’t even gamblers or interested in the gambling – they just find me a positive part of the day, and so they tune in, some of which have been around since the early days of my channel.
It’s a key part of what makes this entire journey worth it for me, and why I continue to put so much into making my content, and the community around it, as positive and uplifting as I can.
I appreciate your kind words, Jackie, and everyone else who has shared them with me over the years. It truly warms my heart that we (myself as well as Marco) are able to be there for you, even if just via a daily video. I never realized that just by playing slots I could have such an impact on peoples personal lives, and it warms my heart.
Just last night I watched Matt Rife (comedian made famous by tiktok viral videos) live in Vegas, and a woman told him that he saved her life and got her out of a deep depression. He told her it wasn’t him who did it, she did it all by herself with her own strength, but that he was glad to be a part of it. I love that, and share in that vision.
