Those who watch me have been able to watch me play slots for a long time now. One of the innovations I brought to the space was adding the ability to see my reactions as I play. Sometimes those reactions yield questions, and sometimes those questions go in completely opposite directions!
Why do you act surprised about everything as if you have never played ever 👀🤣🤷🏽♀️ Just curious.

And
Why is he so casual about hitting 2 minors for over 13k? Come on Brian 😂

I can still get excited about wins from playing – in fact, I think that’s a good thing. If I wasn’t ever finding joy in the ups and downs of playing, that would be a pretty good time to call it a day and find a new pursuit.
Fortunately, I find slots fun, I find them relaxing, and yes, I find them exciting! And I know my reactions are fun and enjoyable for a lot who watch, so hopefully I don’t lose that sense of joy.
But I also evaluate what just happened relative to my bets, which leads to Frank’s question. In the latter case, the wins were back to back, but each were not a massive multiple of my bet, so I also have to keep that in mind.
I encourage players to get excited if they encounter a win that’s at least 100x their bet, regardless of their bet level, because even on today’s more volatile slots, it’s a pretty rare thing and should be celebrated!
In the case of the two separate minors, they were closer to 50x my bet – still a great win, but I am more likely to take them in stride, even if back to back.
I don’t want players to think that I’m somehow disappointed in such a large sum, especially in absolute terms, but I also consider both the amount bet and the amount won relative to my bet when I’m reacting to things.
Here’s one more question that continues down this line:
After doing this for so long, and having so many wins, when you get these massive payouts do you feel kind of numb towards them now? Like do you still have the same excitement and joy as you did when you first started?

I really do still enjoy slots, regardless of bet level. I literally finish my casino filming days by playing slots to relax, haha. My bets have shifted over the last decade, but I still get the same genuine excitement when I get a good bonus, and I still have those amazing moments when I hit a new level, like my Crazy Chickens win late last year, which set a new biggest casino win of my lifetime.
But I don’t need a superlative, best ever win to enjoy myself. And thankfully, that means I get to do work that connects to things I love, and that makes what I do that much more enjoyable.
