Lion Link is a great example of a slot that mixes some popular features that players love to make a pretty fun game. On the 88 Fortunes Slots app you can play Wealth of the Dragon, one of the Lion Link themes, anytime you like, anywhere you like, for free!
Let’s dive into this fun slot, and at the end we’ll share how you can get started with 88 Fortunes Slots.
Base Game
The Lion Link slot is a 5×3 reel set game board with 40 pay lines. There’s 9 pay table symbols, five of which are poker symbols, three semi-premium symbols, and one best paying premium symbol.
There’s wild symbols, which appear on any reel. Bonus symbols appear on the middle three reels, and there’s also the prize on reels pearls, which are awarded when you trigger the Lion Link bonus.
When pearls appear, they can evolve the coins and pearls imagery above the reels, but similar to other elements like this, how full that part of the screen is has nothing to do with the chances of getting a bonus – it’s for fun and show.
The slot features a mystery door feature, which also appears on the reels. The mystery doors will reveal either one of the pay table symbols or the pearls, and could feature a mix of both, creating some obstacles to getting line hits or bonuses.
There are five jackpots on this version of the game, all flat jackpots that change proportionally with your bet amount, so your chances of winning any of the jackpots are the same at any bet level. The jackpots are available to win in the Lion Link feature.
One element to this game is the bonuses tend to come out more frequently; that means you won’t necessarily win as much on a particular bonus, but
Specific to 88 Fortunes Slots are three progressives, available to players who are spinning high enough amounts to qualify. The progressives do change in size as you bet more, increasing the prizes you win accordingly.
Lion Link Feature
Six or more pearls revealed on a single spin trigger the Lion Link bonus. A bonus can also be triggered with less than six pearls randomly by filling in the missing number of pearls to get the bonus.
A traditional hold and spin bonus follows, with three spins awarded for the chance to collect more pearls. Successfully landing another pearl resets the spin counter to three.
Go three spins without collecting a pearl, or filling all 15 reel positions, will end the bonus, awarding all the prizes collected. If all 15 positions are held, the Grand jackpot is also awarded. The other four jackpots can appear as values on the pearls, along with credits.
Free Games
Three bonus symbols on the middle three reels triggers Free Games. You get 8 free games. Now, the mystery doors that land during the bonus open, but lock in place, with a new reveal every spin. Collect enough doors throughout the bonus and the line hits can get pretty substantial.
The Lion Link feature and retriggers are not available during the Free Games.
