Base Game
Triple Cash Eruption is a 20 line game, paying left to right, that features a mix of premium symbols like red and blue sevens plus lesser paying options like cherries and lemons. Depending on how you’re feeling, you can choose to play a variety of bets ranging from as low as 20 cents a spin on some sites all the way up to potentially hundreds of dollars per spin.
During the base game, different colored fire balls can appear on the reels. These fire balls are what can trigger one, or a combination of, the three bonus upgrades seen near the top of the screen. If you’re truly just after bonus action, this title does afford you the opportunity to buy a bonus outright. We’ll cover more on that below.
In addition to the fire balls, you should also keep an eye out for wilds. These wild volcanoes can appear on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5. When they land, this symbol will expand vertically and transform the entire reel into a wild. It is possible to land more than one wild at a time and when that happens, the game can bestow some pretty lucrative wins! The expanding wild feature is a hallmark of the Cash Eruption series.
The game also features four flat bonus jackpots that shift based on your bet level. This means the chances of winning them remain the same on any bet level. They’re available during the Triple Cash Eruption Bonus.
Triple Cash Eruption Bonus
This version of Cash Eruption dispenses with the Free Games bonus and focuses on the hold and spin – which makes sense, given the addition of the volcanoes. So all of the bonus weight now falls to the Triple Cash Eruption Bonus.
As such, you really want at least one of the volcanos to trigger. The volcanos can trigger as long as there is one of their specific color fireballs lands on the screen.
Like other titles that feature different bonus configurations, you can trigger more than one of the corresponding volcanoes to make a truly delicious bonus, creating seven bonus variations given the combination possibilities.
Common to all bonus is the standard hold and spin rules – you get three spins to land another prize. Do so and the counter resets to three spins. Go three spins without another ball landing, or fill the board, and the bonus concludes. All values held during the bonus are awarded, and if you fill the board the Grand bonus prize is also awarded.
The upgrades available are:
- Red Multiplier Volcano: The red volcano will throw down a multiplier each time a fire ball value lands. These multipliers can range from 2x up to 5x and do apply to any bonus jackpots that might show up.
- Green Collect Volcano: During the green volcano bonus, anytime you land a green “collect” symbol, all values currently on the board get sucked into that orb, and you win the combined total value of what was already on the board.
- Blue Double Volcano: Double the action, double the chance to hit it big! The Blue Double Volcano bonus gives you double the boards to land orbs. You will be presented with two boards, with each playing independently with their own spin counters.
When you trigger all three of the volcanos, you are in for a wild ride!
Buy a Bonus
As mentioned, this game features a buy a bonus scenario. Like other online games, the pricing is based on the bet size you have selected. Two options exist – a 50x mystery option that will guarantee one upgrade but could offer two or three. There’s also a 130x option that guarantees all three volcanoes.
We “bought” the bonus on demo mode to see what this would look like. Because we were betting $4 on the base game, the 3 volcano feature was priced at $520. On the $520 bet, we won a total of $756. The majority of the bonus win came thanks to a mini bonus jackpot that landed fairly early on. That $40 mini was multiplied by the red volcano and then scooped up a few times by the green collect volcano. We like that multipliers and collect volcanoes apply to the bonus jackpots – this isn’t always the case!
