Calling all collection game lovers! We have a title for you to take for a spin next time you are feeling like you want to play: Gold Blitz Ultimate! Gold Blitz Ultimate by Games Global offers up a standard free spin bonus in addition to the opportunity to hit it big thanks to a great collection feature.
Read on below to see how the game plays and good luck if you decide to take it for a spin! And, we’ll share with you where you can play with real money online.
Base Game
To start things off, Gold Blitz Ultimate is a 6,400 ways game that offers up a wide variety of bets. The demo we reviewed had a range from 20 cents all the way up to $50 per spin.
In terms of line hits, you are hoping for the dollar sign, horseshoe, coins, bell, and gold bricks to fall into place from left to right. These are your top paying symbols that will bestow larger wins than the royal symbols 9, 10, J, Q, K, A.
During the base game there are wild symbols that can make appearances on the reels to help score line hits. This green wild symbol substitutes for all symbols with the exception of those that correspond to the bonus and feature action that we’ll cover below.
Cash Multiplier & Collect Feature
Before you score the collect bonus, you’re going to want to build up your Cash Multiplier number shown at the top of your screen. Every time you score one of the purple Cash Multiplier symbols, the cash multiplier is increased until it maxes out. During the base game you can increase the multiplier up to 5x and a juicy 10x in the Free Spin Bonus round. This lucrative symbol can be found on reels two, three, four, and five.
Now, hopefully you have your Cash Multiplier maxed out and it’s time to take on the collect bonus! The Collect Feature symbol is a purple lightning bolt that can land on reels one and six in both the base game and free games feature. During the Collect Feature you have the chance to score wins ranging from 0.5x your base bet up to 20x. In addition to straight credits, you have the chance to score progressives! The progressives are color coded- Black is the grand, red the mega, purple is the major, blue for the minor, and lastly, green for the mini. And, yes, you can score a jackpot more than once on the same spin!
If you land two of the lightning collection symbols in reels one and five without any collection tiles, the game will respin giving you another chance to collect!
Blitz Boost
In addition to your traditional spins, the title features two “Blitz Boost” options. For double your bet, you can choose to activate the “Double Frequency” option or really press your luck and activate what is called the “Guaranteed on Every Spin” feature. During the Guaranteed on Every Spin option, you’ll land the symbol every spin. It comes with a price tag of 10x your starting bet. We like to check things out on a $4 base bet (or around that level). If we did a Guaranteed on Every Spin, our bet would jump from $4 to $40.
Free Games
During the base game, you can trigger the bonus by landing three or four of the red bonus symbols anywhere on the reels.
If you land three, you can pick eight spins with 60 “Cash and Jackpot Symbols” added per reel, 12 spins with 40, or 15 spins with 20 added per reel. If you manage to land four of the bonus symbols, the number of free games you can pick from increases although the number of Cash and Jackpot Symbols are the same. Instead of the previous offerings, you’ll consider 12 free spins with 60 Cash and Jackpot Symbols, 15 spins with 40, and 20 with 20.
Bonus Buy
If you aren’t lucky enough to trigger the bonus organically (we weren’t), you can decide to buy a bonus. For a base game bet of $4 per spin, the standard three symbol bonus trigger is $200 to buy outright. You can decide to buy a four symbol trigger for $340. These prices scale up or down based on your specific bet.
Wondering about that bonus meter? Even if you don’t land three of the bonus symbols, Gold Blitz Ultimate gives you a visual illusion in the form of a bonus meter towards the top of your screen. Any two bonus symbols collected get scooped up and sent over to the bonus meter. The meter is triggered once you land three (or more) of the red bonus symbols. After the completion of a triggered bonus, the meter will randomly reset to show either 5%, 10% or 15% filled.
