Shamrock Fortunes by AGS brings the luck of the Irish right to you! In this digital title you have the opportunity to score one of three pot bonuses, or if you are really lucky, a combination of two or all three of the features.
Read on below for what to hope for if you decide to take Shamrock Fortunes for a spin!
Base Game
Shamrock Fortunes is a 30 line game with a base reel height of 5×3. that pays from the left most reel to the right when corresponding symbols fall into place. You can choose to play the game at a wide variety of bet sizes ranging from 80 cents up to $80.
While spinning, keep your eye out for the top symbol, a golden clover coin that shows all possible pot colors- green, red, and blue. Landing five of these on a payline results in a win that is 200x your bet base. Four of the multi color clovers are worth 80x and even three are valued at 20x your original bet.
The multicolored coin is followed by the leprechaun. This redheaded figure follows the same pay mechanics with five bestowing a 200x win and so on. The coins and leprechaun are followed by a shoe stuffed with coins, stein of beer, horseshoe, and smoking pipe. In addition to the more lucrative symbols, the title includes the standard A, K, Q, J, 10, and 9.
Golden Pot Prizes
In both the base and free games, you have the chance to win golden pot prizes. These wins occur when at least two golden pots land in reels one and two- one per reel. The golden pots can continue to fall on the remaining reels, but it only counts if you have those first two locked in place. Golden pot prizes range in value from 20-80 credits times your bet multiplier on reels one and two. The values increase as the pots work their way towards the right most reels. Values on reels three and four range from 100-250 and the last reel, reel five, can bestow wins ranging from 200 to an impressive 1,500. The prizes are multiplied by your total base bet.
Pot Features
Any time one or more of the colored coins land on your reel set, there is a chance to trigger one of the three pot bonuses shown at the top of the screen. If you are lucky enough to land multiple coins, you can trigger a combination bonus for hopefully an even bigger win.
The number of pots that trigger at the time of the bonus dedetermines your starting free spin amount. One pot awards five free spins, landing two together awards 10 free games, and getting all three at once gets you 15 free games.
Each colored coin, and its matching pot, can activate a unique bonus upgrade:
- Green Extra Free Games: When triggered, the green pot bonus gives you the opportunity to score extra free spins within the feature. You win the extra spins by landing a golden pot with a rainbow background in the first reel. On these pots, you can win either “+1 Extra Spin” or “+2 Extra Spin.”
- Red Symbol Upgrade: The red pot bonus is the symbol upgrade feature. During this feature round, every time that you collect one of the shamrock coins, no matter the color, it is counted towards the collection meter. The collection meter has five levels. eliminating the lower paying symbols and replacing them with golden. The more coins you collect, the more symbols are eliminated to make room for more golden pots.
- Blue Growing Reels: The blue pot bonus grows the reels to a 5×5 height so they are taller during the bonus spins. Plus, a variety of multipliers have been added to reel five including 2x, 3x, and 5x.
During the various pot features, you can still capture the golden pot prizes! These golden pot prizes can prove extremely fruitful if they extend all the way across the reels and end with a multiplier.
Finally, if you did not trigger all three pots to start the bonus, you have the chance of triggering them during the bonus. Triggering an additional pot during the free spins adds five free spins to your current tally, and initiates the matching upgrade.
