Fans of the popular TV show Breaking Bad may want to try out the latest from Playtech, Breaking Bad Mega Collect ‘Em.
This digital title incorporates well known themes and characters from the show while mixing it with popular casino mechanics like multiple features. It lives within the Collect ‘Em Family of slots, and is a sister game to the earlier Breaking Bad Collect ‘Em & Link slot.
Read on below to learn what to look out for in both the base and feature games before testing Breaking Bad Mega Collect ‘Em for yourself.
Base Game

Breaking Bad Mega Collect ‘Em is a 30 line game that pays from the left reel to the right when corresponding symbols fall into place. The title leans heavily on Walter White’s chosen profession, using signs from the periodic table as the lowering paying symbols. In addition to Ag, Ra, Au, and Pt, the game includes some (kinda) friendly faces- Skyler, Jesse, and Walt. The reels also include some symbols that are pivotal to the plot including the RV.
In Breaking Bad Mega Collect ‘Em, the name of the game is “Collect ‘Em.” During both the base and Free Games, you can score some pretty enticing action if the blue Collect’Em symbol finds its way onto your screen. In the base game, the sought after icon can only appear in reels one or five.
In both the base and Free Games, there is a yellow “Walter White” symbol that acts as your wild. This wild can land as a staked symbol and substitutes for all others with the exception of the “Collect’Em” emblem and coins.
During both the base game and the Free Games feature, the Cash Flow and Axe animations can take place on any given spin. When this happens, wild stacks, coins, and Collect’Em symbols can be added. There is also the chance that the value of any credit prize or number of Free Games can be increased.
Breaking Bad Mega Collect ‘Em allows you to pick between a regular base bet, ranging from 10 cents all the way up to $660, and what they call an “Extra Bet.” The Extra Bet, when toggled on, comes at a higher price for a “higher chance to trigger free games.” On a $4 base bet, the Extra Bet option is available for $6, so it’s a 50% add-on for better chances.
Collect ’Em Prizes
If you’re able to land a Collect ‘Em symbol on reels one and five during the base game or two on any of the reels during the Free Games, you trigger the Collect ‘Em Prizes. During this feature, there are four types of prizes that you can win. The Mini is worth 10x your total bet, Minor 25x, Major 100x, and the Grand prize is 500x your base bet.
The action intensifies even more during this bonus round with the possibility that the prizes will show up with a multiplier valued up to 5x. If more than one Collect ‘Em symbol is locked into place during the Free Games, prizes can be won multiple times. Plus, more than one Diamond symbol can land on the same spin!
Free Games
If Free Games are what you are after, you are hoping to land one of those blue Collect ‘Em symbols that we were talking about plus a coin symbol that says +X, which refer to the number of free games collected from that symbol. The total of all Free Game numbers is the total number of spins for your feature. You can buy a feature on this title, which we will break down next.

Once the feature is launched, you’ll notice the screen looks a little different. There are five additional rows that have been added to the top of the screen. The bonus starts off with these additional rows locked; you unlock them by securing an ax plus the Collect ‘Em symbol.
Your goal is to collect as many axes as there are locks to unlock the full screen. The good news is that every time you do land one of those coveted Collect ‘Em symbols, they get locked into place for three spins.
If you are able to get some rows unlocked, the action kicks up even more. A Collect ‘Em symbol on the 4th extra row will stick around for five spins instead of three, and a Collect’Em all the way at the top will remain in place for the remainder of the Free Games feature. Plus, unlike in the base game, the Collect ‘Em symbol can appear on any reel, offering even more places for them to land!!
While taking on the Free Games, you may notice another wild coming into play. This is the “Heisenberg B&W sketch” that comes complete with the word “wild” on it. When you land both the special Heisenberg B&W sketch and a collect symbol, the Dropping Wilds feature is triggered. If you score more than one collect, each additional collection symbol will add a multiplier to the special wild.
As if that wasn’t enough, the Free Games also contains two more mini features: the Car Wash and Let’s Cook Smoke Catch features.
- The Car Wash: This feature is triggered when you land a Car Wash Sticker. This symbol then will spread random coins or a Collect’Em symbol on the extra reels. The good news is that the added coins cannot be placed on locked reels. The Car Wash Feature can spread up to five coins.
- Let’s Cook Smoke Catch: If you see a box of green smoke appear at the the bottom of the reel set, that is the Let’s Cook Smoke Catch Feature. Breaking Bad Mega Collect ‘Em calls the green smoke a “smoke container.” Every spin that green smoke container will move up one position until it falls off the reels. Every Cash coin that lands inside the smoke is doubled but only if there is a Collect’Em symbol on the screen. The smoke canister when working in tandem with the collection symbols can turn into a 10X and then Diamond symbol.
Buy A Feature

When the Extra Bet feature is turned off, you have the option to buy a bonus. On a $4 base bet, the bonus will cost you $400, making the cost 100x your bet amount. When you opt to buy the bonus, you get at least six free games.
Once you decide to buy in, the game will automatically give you a “collect” tile and you will spin the remaining reels to see how many free games you will get a crack at. The blue tiles will display golden numbers. The total of those numbers is the number of free games.
