Now about those featured free games. The free game symbol in Super Lantern 8s looks like a pile of golden coins with the word “bonus” proudly displayed in blue across the bottom. You need to land three of these to trigger the feature. The coin scatter can only appear on reels one, three, and five. When triggered, the bonus symbols will pay 3X your base bet and you will get eight free games.
During the free games, you do have the chance to earn additional spins by retriggering. To do this, you need to land three of the bonus symbols during one of your free spins. Doing so will score you an additional eight games. Remember, the bonus symbols can only appear on reels one, three, and five.
For what it’s worth, you will definitely know if you have a crack at either the bonus or the wheel because of the suspense animation the game developers heavily leaned into. Anytime you land four or more wheels, the remaining reels left to spin will become golden and you will hear a different soundtrack, if playing with sound, than the normal background tune.
