Influencer marketing has grown by leaps and bounds as social media platforms have exploded. But I realize some of those watching may not always quite understand that relationship and how it works. I aim to be transparent on these topics, and here I tackle another of your questions on it:
Do these casinos pay you to play or give you the bankroll?

When it comes to casino visits, casinos may pay a fee to my company for marketing services, which is executed at this point not just by myself, but the team of a dozen or so working for me, including my husband, Marco. The marketing services we offer include hosting events (such as meet & greets, group pulls and slot tournaments), showcasing the property in my videos, social media posts, and so forth.
This is no different than the casinos hosting a meet and greet with a reality TV star, or even booking a popular musician to perform at the property’s arena. The goal in each case is to get people to visit, and hopefully while they’re there, they take advantage of the amenities the property offers, whether it be the casino floor, restaurants, spas, hotels, and so on.
As someone who produces slot content, certainly that element matters, because my audience is full of slot enthusiasts who enjoy the various games casinos offer on their floors.
Casinos do not give me money to gamble, and the gambling you see on camera is played on machines found on the casino floor that any one of us can walk up to and play. It is 100% authentic play that you’re watching. Players routinely see me filming during my casino visits, and you’ll on occasion see those interactions on camera if I happen to be filming when they happen.
Sometimes casinos will recommend new games to play, or ask me to showcase specific elements of their property – this isn’t unusual when helping to market the property. But I get to decide what I play, how much I put into a machine and how much to wager per spin. Our only agreement is the number of slot videos to record.
Casinos will of course comp my stays and meals, but if you’ve watched enough of my videos, you’ll also see the amount I gamble. Casinos would comp that for virtually any player gambling at my level, and I think it’s fair to acknowledge that I’m going to take advantage of those opportunities just as any of you would. I also receive free play, and here too I would receive free play whether or not I had a channel to showcase my play.
So hopefully that helps those of you who are wondering how this all works. Casinos don’t bankroll my play, but they do invite me to visit and host events, and that’s where the marketing partnership primarily exists. It’s also good to note that the fee I take helps to pay my dozen employees a good wage including health benefits and a 401k package.
