Super Hot Flaming Pots Mr. Lee is a great example of a newer slot title that has quickly earned tons of slot fans.
Even if you aren’t the biggest fan of the game from Light & Wonder yourself, there is a high chance you’ve played it or at least seen a version of the game at your casino of choice. Now, you can decide to cook up some delicious fun online in the digital version of Super Hot Flaming Pots Mr. Lee.
Before you take on the game for yourself, read on below to learn how Super Hot Flaming Pots Mr. Lee plays, including the bonus features and how the pay mechanics work.
How to Play

Bets are available starting at 10 cents and gradually increase all the way up to a max bet of $20 per spin. Speaking to the design of the symbols and overall theme of the game, Super Hot Flaming Pots Mr. Lee leans into culinary elements, including onions, sushi, and star anise.
The game pays left to right and follows “Reel Ways” pay mechanics. This means you need to land at least one matching symbol per reel, working out from the left to right. It does not matter where the symbol lands within that reel, as there are no actual lines, but you need to capture at least matching symbols on three consecutive reels starting from the left to make a connection.
Once you form a connection, it’s important to note that the base game symbol pays in this title aren’t the highest paying out there. Super Hot Flaming Pots Mr. Lee is one of those games where you are really hoping for a bonus in order to kick off the action and hopefully win some money.
Now as for the details on those pays less than amazing hits, on a $4 bet, for example, the star anise will pay starting with three symbols. Three of the ingredients will pay 40 cents and work its way up to $1.60 if you get five. In addition to the ingredients, the game includes payouts for 8, 9, J, Q, K, and A. The more minor linehit payouts do get some help from wilds. When Mr. Lee lands on a reel, he expands to cover the entire column. These Mr. Lee expanding wilds can appear on reels two, three, and four. Because of the structure of the bonus game, he does not appear in the bonus features.
Stack N’ Hit
During any base game spin, you have the chance to trigger the Stack N’ Hit bonus feature with each scatter you land. There are three base options for this feature: Yummy, Spicy, and Upsized. These are represented by color coded scatter symbols: Yummy is green, Spicy, is purple, and Upsized is red. Every time you land one of these scatters, they shoot off into the corresponding pots for a chance to launch the bonus. You are guaranteed a bonus if you land four of the scatter symbols. Depending on which bonus you get, your bonus experience will be slightly different. We’ll cover the different options in detail below.
Regardless of which feature, or combination, is triggered all scatter symbols will transform into dumplings in the bonus round. This is that different play structure we were talking about with the expanding Mr. Lee wilds.
Additional dumplings may be added to the grid, increasing the total dumplings to three to ten. Any dumplings you capture will all display a credit prize; these prizes include 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 45, and 60 credits. The dumplings can also display the Mini, Minor, or Major. Every time you fill a column, or reel, during a feature, you bank the credits displayed and the space is now open for more dumplings to land. Every time you land a dumpling, or pepper in a feature that includes the “Spicy” additions, your spin counter resets. The feature is complete after three or four spins without landing something. We’ll cover the spin difference below during the feature breakdown.
We told you that this game was all about the bonus action! The final layer to the various features is how you can capture the top billed prize, the Grand jackpot. This is accomplished during any of the bonus options, regardless of feature combination, by filling each column on a grid at least once. Above each of the five columns, you will see G-R-A-N-D spelled out. If you fill the first column, the “G” will be replaced by a dancing pepper, you will need to fill the remaining columns, at least once, to get all five dancing peppers.
- Upsized Feature: The red Upsized Feature will double your playing space. Instead of enjoying one grid of possible dumpling wins, you will get a second grid. The grids are labeled “feature 1” and “feature 2.” Both of the grids play independently.

- Yummy Feature: The green Yummy feature will give you an extra spin! Instead of starting with three spins, you will get four.

- Spicy Feature: The purple Spicy feature allows you to continue increasing the value of your dumplings already on the grid if you land one of the red peppers. The red peppers can appear on the grid just like dumplings, the difference is that the red peppers explode and add whatever value they are showing to each dumpling already on your grid. In addition to traditional credits, the action can really heat up when the Mini, Minor, or Major show up.
You are able to double or even triple trigger the bonus feature. That is the goal, and if you’re lucky enough to score a combination bonus, you will enjoy the features of both, or all.
Super Lantern
In addition to the various pots you see under Mr. Lee, there is a second bonus feature to keep your eye out for- The Super Lantern Bonus!
The Super Lantern feature is triggered when you land three or more of the red lanterns during the base game. Once you trigger the feature, you will get to spin the lantern to see what prize you will get! You can spin for the Super Yummy, Super Spicy, Super Upsized, or any combination thereof. Every time you fill up a column during a “spicy” bonus, the credit amounts are doubled when they get scooped up by Mr. Lee. Dumplings that are not in a full column do not get doubled. Otherwise, the bonus will play as described above.
In addition to the various bonus combinations you can score, you can also land the Grand or Major credit prizes.
