Rising Digital has staked a claim for popular Asian-themed slots that have been released by a variety of game makers. Now, they’re making the jump online, with 1000 Year Dragon as one of their titles. This title features a variety of time-tested formats that players enjoy, including a hold and spin bonus, free games and a jackpot picking feature.
Let’s look at what 1000 Year Dragon has to offer, and where you can play it!
Base Game
The 1000 Year Dragon slot machine has a 5×3 reel set with a 50 pay line, 50 credit format, so the minimum bet is 50 cents. There’s nine pay table symbols, five of which are royals and four are premium symbols.
There’s also scatter symbols and fireball cash on reels symbols, which link to the two game bonuses. Finally, there’s wild symbols which appear only on reels 2-5, and match with everything but the scatter and fireball symbols.
The game features four progressive jackpots, which increment based on wager. The total contribution to the progressives is 1%, with it spread almost evenly between the four. This is one of those times the pay table offers a bit of extra information than normal, which is helpful.
Jackpot Feature
The Jackpot Feature is where those progressives can be awarded. 12 objects appear, and this predetermined picking bonus works like others you may have seen – whichever jackpot you match three of first is the progressive you win.
Mystical Ball Bonus
Six or more fireballs triggers this bonus, which works like a traditional hold and spin. You get three spins to attempt to land another fireball. If you do, the counter resets back to three spins. Go three spins without a fireball, or collect all 15 spaces with fireballs, and your bonus ends by collecting all the prizes that landed.
Both credit prizes and progressive jackpots are possible. The pay table does not indicate that getting all 15 awards the Grand, nor does it indicate you can’t land the Grand during it, so we can only conclude that the Grand is a possible prize on a ball.
Free Games
Three or more scatter symbols awards the free games. A picking screen appears first which can lead to one of three spin counts and one of three wild amounts. The latter is how many extra wilds will be added to the reels. Retriggers are possible, with the same number of spins and wilds as how the bonus started.
