A lot of people marvel at Brian Christopher’s luck and wonder how he always wins. (He doesn’t; it’s one of the reasons why we believe it’s important to show both wins and losses as part of our commitment to Authentic Play.)
Here at Flip The Switch in the heart of the BC offices, we actually call him a bit of an unlucky fellow given how much he gambles. It took nearly nine years to have a win larger than $50,000, and this is with an extensive history of playing in the high limit room. That was finally broken at the end of 2024, when he won nearly $80,000 on Crazy Chickens, and did so on a $37.50 bet. Now THAT is lucky!
But it also stood as his biggest casino win for 18 months. And now, that record has finally been broken.
The video was shot as part of Brian’s Betting a Million to Win a Million series, serving as day 26 of season 3. They’re supposed to serve as shorts, but as slot bonuses begin to get longer again, some of them just can’t stand alone. Earlier one Spooky Link bonus was so long it had to be cut into three parts. Here, another bonus manages that distinction.
This time, it was Super Hot Flaming Pots, and it was on a big bet – $228. He triggered a double bonus, featuring the Yummy upgrade for a four spin countdown to get another dumpling vs. the normal three, and the Spicy upgrade featuring peppers that can increase all the dumpling values.
Slowly but surely, he continued to fill up spaces. When you complete a row, the pepper above it activates. Clear each row once and you spell GRAND, awarding the Grand jackpot.
And somehow, Brian managed to do it, securing a $110,000 Grand jackpot, marking not only his first six figure win on a casino slot machine, but his first high limit Grand jackpot as well.
This particular Grand jackpot is fairly elusive – the comments on the video noted many who said they hadn’t actually seen one, making this a particularly exciting moment.
