How does Brian Christopher have a budget to gamble the level he does? This may not seem like it connects to today’s question, but based on peoples’ search patterns and this question below left on our article about Marco, it’s more connected than you might think:
How do you get the money to gamble like that?
Terry
We get it. For one, you can’t play slots to make money. It’s a losing sport, intentionally designed to make money for the casino. Short term wins will inevitably turn to long term losses. Brian even states this regularly in his videos, and in the process he shares his wins and his losses. So we know that’s not how he makes his money.
Some inevitably think that Marco, Brian’s husband, is the breadwinner and therefore must be bankrolling Brian’s gambling bonanza. But that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Although Marco has been fortunate enough to lead a successful, decades-long career in tech, and Marco and Brian were known for their successful real estate and rental business back in Canada, Brian built up the BCSlots channel on his own.
Marco joined the business a couple of years ago to support what Brian’s doing. Both of them are now 100 percent invested in the success of BC Ventures, the company they co-founded to propel Brian Christopher Slots and the various other projects surrounding it, like this one right here at Flip The Switch.
Like other content creators, Brian has built a business out of it, and that business is what provides a living that includes the ability to invest the money into the content you see on camera. Brian is always playing with his own money, earned from the business he created.
It’s a decent sized small business at this point, one that employs about a dozen people (Brian and Marco included) and features a Las Vegas residency with Plaza Hotel & Casino, Brian Christopher Slots Cruises with Carnival, and an ambassadorship with BetMGM. This is on top of a merchandise line, a fan club with a subscription model and added perks, along with partnerships with casinos, game makers and more, including the site you’re on right now.
In the end, Brian decides his budget, what he’s going to play, how much he’ll put towards things. What you see on camera is the end result of those decisions. His gambling is as real as it gets.
Marco’s net worth is not something we’ll share here (sorry), but we can confirm it is not what propels Brian’s content and his gambling budget. That has all been thanks to how Brian’s developed his own career as a creator and entertainer, and we as viewers all get to enjoy the fruits of that labor with daily high-quality content, as well as the most positive slots community out there.

I can’t believe someone would ask Marco’s net worth !!! Like seriously!!! None of anyone’s business
It’s like a shirt I just saw from Kamala’s campaign. Mind your own damn business
Hey Shana – we certainly get that people are naturally curious. Brian bets big, and they have many various theories as to how he can afford it. The answer is pretty simple – over 8+ years Brian’s built out a business that employs a team while still allowing him to create content daily!
Exactly !
Although I had a moment where I pictured Marco as a daddy Warbucks kind of guy which made me giggle 🤣
I love BC slots he’s so cute and entertaining it’s no one business what they’re income is Marco and Brian are happy together that all that matters ❤️
It’s not mentioned that You Tube followers make a difference in his income. I heard the more followers he gets, the more pay.
The number of followers isn’t as much a generator of income as the number of views, the category of content, etc. If you have a lot of followers but no one is watching, there isn’t any money to be made.
Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your personal side. Of course everybody wonders how you can bet so big, and now we know. Congratulations to you and Marco, for succeeding in having a profitable successful business. I LOVE watching you gamble, as NEVER ever will I be able to do such a thing. Its only over the past few months that I have found your channel on youtube. My husband and I have booked a cruise to meet and gamble with you, in November. I am really looking forward to meeting you both, as you are both WONDERFULLY pleasant and kind. Something thats difficult to find these days. I wish you both the continued success in the future. Well Done! Leanne
Thank you for the kind note, Leanne! It’s definitely a question we get asked, and felt it was a good time to share a bit more around it. We’ll see you on the cruise!
Does Brian get paid for promoting the Casinos he plays in, and does he get paid for promoting the slot machine makers???
If Brian is promoting a casino or a particular slot on behalf of a slot maker, the video will note it as such, with partners mentioned in video and in the description. Not every video will have such an arrangement, but certainly it happens, such as the recent launch of the Whitney Houston slot machine.
Thank you for sharing the bit of backstory. I suppose so many of us are curious not because we’re nosy, but because we are envious. Well ok, many of us are nosy! We, my husband and I, watch all the time so we of course become inquisitive. It’s only natural I suppose to want to lead, what is at least being portrayed, as a brilliant and fun lifestyle. Being in casinos, playing slots, night clubs (not our thing, we prefer morning quiet slot play lol), cruise ships (bucket list item I hope to someday achieve), walking around resort towns, meeting fun people. You can’t help but be envious of most of your lifestyle. I’m sure it’s hard, hard work. Perhaps someday you will film a behind the scenes of how hectic your life actually is. That it isn’t all glitz, glamour and fun. Meeting with casino heads, traveling all the time, airplanes and cars, lost luggage, bad/rude/incompetent service, setting up cameras, office work, do you actually get time off to enjoy things? I’m sure you are incredibly busy all the time no matter how much you make things look InstaPerfect. Do you ever get bored doing this? Keep up the great content!! We adore you and say your catch-phrases all the time. I still think you need a t-shirt saying “I need Marco luck!”.
Brian puts himself out there everyday, so it makes sense people have questions, Diana! But you’re right – there’s a lot of work that’s not caught on camera, and it also often leads to a non-standard work schedule too! But Brian’s noted in previous Q&As here on Flip The Switch that fortunately it stays engaging, doesn’t get boring, and that helps when it’s not always the most glamorous part of the work!
I agree 100%! It’s nice to see people secede. I think information /questions regarding personalities is fair game. Not nosy. I enjoy seeing lovely, personable humans’ success!!
Thank you DianaD.
how these boys earn a living and net worth is no ones business…. i have been watching the channel since it started and even went to see brian at vee q and wild horse pass …. he is still the king of the slot world in my opinion and i have seen many channels go bust because it’s a quite expensive endeavor …. to make a profession from it is quite remarkable ….i lost at least a dozen dear friends to aids in the early 80’s so i’m always worried in todays new world about that ….
We appreciate that David, but can’t help but have a little fun with the question given how often it comes up!
Congratulations to you, Brian and Marco, for living the American Dream. Love to watch and admire you both. May the future be even brighter for you gentlemen!
Thank you for the support and kind words, Benjamin!
The invalidating comments regarding your success bother me. Regardless of how you got here, YOU got here… it was YOU you lifted people’s spirits, who worked to create an accepting and entertaining environment online for followers, you who chokes down the disappointment when you lose… It is unfair to say you only had these achievements because of someone else. To quote Brian, it’s “rude” and I don’t understand why people feel the need to tear others down. I went searching for this article and others when I heard Brian mention them in a few videos. I put my detective hat on and went digging. I’m not happy that so many people feel the way they do, but I’m VERY happy that they are NOT the majority! Personally, it wouldn’t even bother me if you were an employee or gambling on your handsome hubby’s bankroll, because at the end of the day, it’s your personality that brightens my otherwise bleak and dull days where my mental health is like a storm looming overhead, and I need bright sunny personality’s like Brian’s to lift me out of my own head. Long story short, haters can hate all they want, doubters can doubt, but fans are with you every step of the way. Congrats on YOUR success Brian and Marco. May the odds be ever in your favor (:-P)
Thanks Alicia for the supportive comment. When you’re in the public eye, there will always be comments that range from very positive to very negative. But we also understand some people legitimately don’t understand the setup when you’re recommended a video of a guy spinning high limit slots for a half hour. So we figured it’s helpful to at least address the questions so we can share the reality of how we got here.
I was diagnosed with a form of lymphoma, had an enlarged spleen that had to be removed, i was in the hospital for over a month, if it wasn’t for Brian Christopher and his outgoing funny personality playing slots, I don’t know what i would have done, he helped me pass the time in a good way, I just want to thank you Brian, you rock.
While we’re sorry to hear of your medical issues, Pam, we’re happy to learn that we were able to bring some brightness to your day. That is genuinely one of the best parts of doing what we do!
