Over time a subset of slots have become games with four sets of reels on the screen at one time. They offer their own appeal for some players, but others aren’t so sure. Here’s one player curious about how they work:
I was wondering if you, let’s say, play a slot machine that has more windows of the same game like Huff N Puff power 4, do you get more bonuses and line hits or just the same? I know that there are so many versions of these types of games.

We won’t speak in absolutes, because the game designs go into different directions. But if you have a version of a game where you have four different reel sets and four ways to trigger a bonus, you can generally expect more frequent bonuses versus a version with only a single set of reels.
Another thing you can generally expect is smaller payouts per bonus. That’s because instead of, say, betting $4 on one reel set, you’re betting $1 on each of four reel sets. So there’s less money in each game, and that bears out in the line hits and bonuses.
But, with more bonuses, it will balance out overall – the pays are spread out through the more frequent bonuses instead of one large bonus.
A game like Huff N’ More Puff Power 4 is a bit different because the bonus purposefully is designed to work with all four boards, so it may not be a perfect redistribution of the bonuses to four boards, but more frequent bonuses is one of the draws of it.
Another potential outcome that this format allows is for double bonuses, especially when all four game boards are working independently. In that way, since you can get the bonus trigger on multiple reel sets, it can let you win one bonus after the other.
