Multipliers are a surefire way to get players excited, and when a slot properly leans into their potential, it can be explosive. Fù Guì Háo Mén Splendid Fortunes is a slot that does exactly that – all three of its bonuses have some multiplier element integrated into it, yielding some exciting moments.
Let’s look at the game from IGT PlayDigital in more detail, as well as where you’ll be able to find it!
Base Game
Fù Guì Háo Mén Splendid Fortunes is a 5×3 reel set with 243 ways to win.
Wilds appear on the middle three reels and come in four color variations, linked to the pots above the reels. Any wild can trigger a Golden Pots Bonus.
There are four Cash Pot Awards, seen here in a flat jackpot format that adjusts proportionally with your bet, meaning your odds of winning them are the same at any bet level. They are awarded in the Golden Pots Bonus.
Scatter symbols, which trigger the Free Spins Bonus, appear only on reels 1, 3 and 5.
Finally, Gold and Silver Ingots appear on reels as well. Gold Ingots carry cash on reels credit prizes, while Silver Ingots carry multipliers. They come into play in multiple bonuses within the slot.
Golden Pots Bonus
Any wild can trigger the bonus. The color of the wild that triggers the bonus will match with a pot above. The pot incorporates 1-4 x2 multipliers, each of which attaches to one of the four Cash Pot Awards (only one x2 can attach to a single Cash Pot Award prize per bonus).
After the multipliers attach, you pick until you reveal three of the same Cash Pot Award, which confirms your prize, which then is multiplied by 2 if a multiplier was attached to the prize you won.
Free Spins Bonus
Landing all three scatter symbols on a single spin triggers the Free Spins Bonus, which gives you 8 free spins.
Along with line hits, you also can collect Gold and Silver Ingots. The Red Ingot on screen starts with your initiating bet, and is increased by each Gold Ingot credit prize that lands during the free spins. Similarly, the Purple Ingot starts with a multiplier of x1, and increases with each Silver Ingot multiplier that lands during the free spins.
Up to 5 Gold and Silver Ingots can appear in each free spin. Wilds can still appear and trigger the Golden Pots Bonus. Retriggers are not possible in this bonus.
At the end of the Free Spins Bonus, the Red Ingot credit prize is multiplied by the Purple Ingot multiplier for a final credit prize award to complete the bonus.
Splendid Ingot Bonus
The Splendid Ingot bonus is a twist on the traditional Hold and Win bonus format. To trigger, you need one Gold Ingot and one Silver Ingot.
The Ingots landed on the spin lock in place, and three respins are awarded. Land another Ingot and the counter resets to three respins. Go three spins without landing another Ingot, or fill the board, and the bonus concludes.
Like in the Free Spins Bonus, all credit prizes collected on Gold Ingots are added to the Red Ingot meter, while Silver Ingot multipliers are added to the Purple Ingot meter.
At the conclusion of the bonus, the final Red Ingot credit prize total is multiplied by the Purple Ingot multiplier total for the final bonus award.
