AGS has come on strong in recent years with three-reel game options, with Straight Cash being another in that line.
Here, they follow the lead of concepts where numbers tell you what you win by reading across the screen, but spice it up with a few adjustments that freshen up the format.
Let’s look at the Straight Cash slot machine and where you can play it right now!
Base Game
This is one of those classic 3-reel slot formats with a single pay line. You can bet 1, 5 or 10 credits with bet multipliers of 10, 100 or 1000 (which equate to cents). So minimum bet is as low as 10 cents, or $1 with all three reels activated. Max bet is $100.
Instead of pay symbols on each of the reels there are predominantly numbers:
- Reel 1 has 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10
- Reel 2 has 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5
- Reel 3 has 2, 5, 10, 20, 30 and 50
When a number stops on the payline, you’re awarded that in credits. But some numbers have the word Spin watermarked on them; when that lands on a payline, you respin the reels without numbers (meaning you must have multiple reels active to qualify for this) in the hopes to land another. Land another number with the word Spin and it’ll spin again, presuming an empty reel is still available to respin.
With the reels set up as above, your biggest price is 10,550 credits. But the variety of numbers here means the potential for more unusual payouts vs. other games in the format, like 52 credits. The lack of 0s here also contributes to the prizes being often less round.
There are also two flat jackpots which change with your bet, and are only available when all three reels are activated.
Wheel Bonus
The Wheel Bonus is triggered by getting the Wheel Bonus symbol on all three reels. The wheel spins, featuring credit prizes and flat jackpots on offer. Whatever the wheel lands on is your prize.
The top prize on the wheel is the Grand flat jackpot, which is 1500x your overall bet, or 15,000 credits. It’s therefore similar in size to the top prize on the reels itself.
